Jest on nominowany w kategorii innowacje w zakresie ochrony środowiska do prestiżowej nagrody Rail Business Awards 2009, przyznawanej przez brytyjski miesięcznik "Rail Professional".

Halcrow Group Ltd in association with Unipart Rail have developed The Schedule Advisory System, which offers operators the benefits of reduced energy consumption and savings in emissions, improved train punctuality and more consistent driving standards. It continually compares the train's actual position with an ideal route profile, by monitoring a GPS position location signal and comparing it, once every second, with the train's predicted position against the route profile, thus allowing the driver to coast if he is ahead of schedule. The system is nominated to the British Rail Business Awards 2009 in the category of Environmental Innovation.
