The effect of oxygen containing additives (oxygenates) to Diesel fuel on the efficiency of catalyst during the purification of exhaust gases from Diesel engine wasinvestigated and discussed. The efficiency of the catalyst during the reduction of smokiness in exhaust gases was determined.
