W artykule omówiono zasady budowy schodów żeliwnych. Do analizy szczegółowej wybrano jeden z nielicznych zachowanych przykładów schodów kręconych w zespole fabrycznym Izraela Poznańskiego. Analizę wykonano w zakresie konstrukcji, sposobu montażu i dekoracji. Na podstawie obserwacji i pomiarów in situ sformułowano wnioski praktyczne.

The paper discusses the principles of construction of cast-iron stairs. For a detailed analysis one of the sparse examples of spiral staircases preserved in the complex of Izrael Poznanski Factory was chosen. The performed analysis comprised the structure, method of installation and decoration. On the basis of the in situ observations and measurements practical conclusions were formed.

W artykule przedstawiono charakterystykę parametrów technicznych nowoczesnych materiałów izolacyjnych stosowanych w budownictwie niskoenergetycznym. Do obliczeń numerycznych wytypowano połączenie ściany zewnętrznej z płytą balkonową z różnym układem warstw materiałowych. Na podstawie otrzymanych wyników sformułowano praktyczne wnioski projektowo-wykonawcze.

The article presents the characteristics of the technical parameters of modern insulating materials used in low-energy construction. The numerical calculations were chosen connector connection outer wall of the balcony slab by using different stacks of layers of material. Based on these results conclusions were drawn designing and implementing practical.

W artykule przedstawiono wartości parametrów fizykalnych wybranych złączy ścian zewnętrznych budynku w standardzie nisko energetycznym, wykorzystując program komputerowy TRISCO. Przeprowadzono szczegółową analizę cieplno-wilgotnościową w zakresie dodatkowych strat ciepła, rozkładu temperatury dla założonych parametrów powietrza wewnętrznego i zewnętrznego. Określono czynniki wpływające na wartości parametrów fizykalnych złączy budowlanych z uwzględnieniem wymagań cieplno-wilgotnościowych. Sformułowano wytyczne dotyczące oceny przegród zewnętrznych i ich złączy budynków w standardzie niskoenergetycznym.

The article presents the value of physical parameters of selected junctions of external walls in low energy standard, using a computer program TRISCO. For the assumptions parameters of internal and external air provided particular analysis of the thermal-humidity in terms of additional heat loss and temperature distribution. The influence of factors on the values of building junctions physical parameters provide for the requirements of temperature has been determined. It has been formulated guidance on the assessment of external walls and their junctions as standard low-energy buildings.

The paper presents the characteristics of layers of materials of outside masonry walls and wooden technology walls, accounting for temperature and moisture protection requirements. Masonry and wooden walls were reviewed for heat losses and joints were assessed for risk of surface condensation. Basic criteria were defined for determination of layouts of materials for external walls and their joints.

A set of classification methods was developed for the Polish coastal and transitional waters regarding the biological quality elements – phytoplankton, macrophytes and macroinvertebrates as required by the EU Water Framework Directive. Mean summer chlorophyll-a and total summer biomass of phytoplankton were proposed as indicators in the phytoplankton assessment. Macrophytes were assessed by the Macrophyte Quality Assessment Index, including biomass and percent bottom coverage of the selected taxa. Macroinvertebrate assessment was based on a biotic index comprising abundance, dominance structure, taxonomical richness and species sensitivity/tolerance to eutrophication. A preliminary assessment of the ecological status revealed that the coastal and transitional waters failed to reach a "good" ecological status.

A project was developed concerning the operational system of surveillance and the recording of episodic events in the Baltic Sea. In situ information was to be combined with multi-sensory satellite imagery to determine the extent of algal blooms, to track their evolution and that of rapid environmental events like hydrological fronts. The main element of the system was an autonomous Ferry Box module on a ferry operating between Gdynia and Karlskrona, automatically measuring temperature, salinity and chlorophyll a fluorescence. At pre-selected locations, discrete water samples were collected, which were subsequently analysed for their phytoplankton content, and algal hepato- and neurotoxins; they were also used in toxicity tests with Artemia franciscana.

Założenia parkowe Inowrocławia są odzwierciedleniem jego historii i obrazują rozwój układu urbanistycznego miasta jako uzdrowiska. Park zawiera zwarty zespół obiektów sanatoryjnych. Przedmiotem opracowania jest omówienie programu funkcjonalnego Ogrodu Papieskiego, jego znaczenie i powiązania przestrzenne z dzielnicą sanatoryjną miasta. Analizę przeprowadzono w aspekcie kompozycyjnym i funkcjonalnym uzdrowiska. Ogrody te są reprezentatywnym przykładem właściwego zakomponowania zaniedbanej struktury miasta, wykorzystującego potencjał miejsca.

Assumptions reflect Inowrocław parks history and illustrate the development of urban system as a spa town.Park includes a compact unit spa facilities. The study is to discuss the pontificial gardens functional program, its significance and spatial relationships in the district of sanatorium town. The analysis was performed in terms of compositional and functional spa. These gardens are a representative example of the proper composition neglected urban structure, using the potential of space.

The implementation of the EU Water Framework Directive (WFD) requires ecological status quantification on the basis of biological and physico-chemical parameters, and an assessment of reference conditions and relevant environmental pressures for the construction of response curves. In this study the linking of water transparency, a proposed eutrophication indicator, to environmental pressure parameters was examined in the Polish sector of the Baltic Sea. Statistically significant linear correlations were detected between nutrient concentrations in sea water and Secchi depth, and between nutrient riverine loads and Secchi depth. The magnitude of acceptable deviation from reference conditions is also discussed.

Assessment of the ecological status of an aquatic environment according to the European Union Water Framework Directive (WFD) requires the determination of a link between the observed status of the marine ecosystem and catchment loading as well as the establishment of criteria for ecological status definitions. This article presents the results of a study identifying links between environmental pressures in the Polish sector of the Baltic Sea and state parameters applied in the assessment of eutrophication. Strong, statistically significant correlations were found between riverine loads of nutrients and their marine concentrations even in relatively short time data series.

To implement the EU Water Framework Directive (WFD) it is necessary to establish tools enabling ecological status quantification on the basis of biological indicators, and to assess reference conditions and relevant environmental pressures for the construction of response curves. This study focuses on the Polish sector of the Baltic Sea. A number of statistically significant linear correlations, linking chlorophyll-a concentrations with pressure parameters, were found. Due to the lack of historical data, reference conditions and ecological class boundaries for chlorophyll-a assessment were determined using a simplified mathematical approach.

New technologies are being designed daily, which main task is to make our life easier. However, we often do not realize, that due, to them we can e.g. send information in several seconds from one end of the globe to the other. The engineers designing a given technology do not know in which part of our life it could be useful. Some technologies only after many years of tests and widest employment in rich corporations begin finding more applications, not only industrial. One of this kind of technology is RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). It is one of the few technologies, which goal is to conduct, the revolution in the world commerce and economy. It is supposed to substitute the well-worn diacritic code as a means of identifying any product. The power of this technology is elasticity in fitting into already existing information infrastructure and the fact, that it M based on the wireless exchange of data. In this article author's describe the principles of operation and main elements of RFID technology and present the concept of parking fee. collection system for paid parking zones. The main goals of such system include the increase of fees collectability, as well as simplifying the payment process for the citizens. The possible problems concerning the implementation of the concept are discussed, followed by the proposal of the feasible solutions and prospective system extension directions.
