Energia elektryczna produkowana w elektrowniach wodnych stanowi niewielką część łącznej produkcji w krajowym systemie elektroenergetycznym. Znaczenie tych elektrowni będzie wzrastać między innymi ze względów proekologicznych oraz dlatego, że produkują one energię elektryczną o parametrach zgodnych z wymaganiami określonymi w odpowiednich normach i rozporządzeniach.

In this article was shown the types and kinds of water turbines that are usually used in water stations. This essay presents technical specification of water power station and the results of it's electric power quality measurement. It was demonstrated if recorded measurements of electricity are in accordance with the specification of PN-EN 50160 norm. Moreover this article shows the perspectives of water power stations and the benefits of investment in it.

This paper is an attempt to discuss most important problems with connecting more significant numbers of manufacturing sources, but especially wind power stations to the power grid. In it the most important principles and requirements put before determining linking conditions to the network of high voltage power grid SN 15 kV were discussed. An influence, virtues and the threats connected with the installation of sources dispersed in the system were also described, in addition attention to the quality of the electric energy produced by these sources.
