The space, apart from the indexing criteria, is a specific subject of management. The division of the area into individual parts requaires to consider legal restrictions. Those legal restrictions defines “susceptibility” or “resistivity” on reassignment. The largest amount of space which is also the most susceptible on the repurposing is agricultural space, then forestry space. Susceptibility of forestry space refers to road and rail infrustructure.

Rewitalizacja założeń obronnych, dotąd zaniedbanych, pozwoli małym miastom Pomorza, takim jak Dzierzgoń, zwiększyć atrakcyjność miasta dla turystów i mieszkańców. Wykorzystanie miejsca powiązanego z historią, mieszczącego się w samym centrum miejscowości, na organizację parku tematycznego, jest dobrym kierunkiem działań, akceptowanym również przez mieszkańców.

The revitalisation of defence landscaping structures, so far squalid and forgotten, will enable the small towns of the Pomerania region to increase their attractiveness, both for tourists, and residents. The utilisation of a place connected with history and located in the very centre of the town, and arranging a subject park there, is a good direction of activities, accepted also by the town residents.

The imagination of Warmia as an attractive tourism region was dominated by popularity of Mazury. This is the reason why the tourism movement and tourism potential on the domestic and international market isn't used. Also competitiveness and activity of the investment, especially in rural areas. The goal should be based on the contemporary reasoning of regionalism, including the regional identity of Warmia, as an element of the universum, the European area of history, culture and nature. Basing strategy of the Warmian House Program is creating a good image in the frame of revitalization of the regional identity. Introduction to the Warmian House Program projects, which consist of native, Warmian tourist project, will be motivation to develop rural tourism enterprise. This project will be created in different areas: A. Cultural and natural heritage of region B. Public tourism infrastructure (routes and tourism attractions) C. Tourism enterprise D. Promotion of the region and the Warmian House Program.

The following general conclusions can be deducted from considerations of the paper entitled Conditions and directions of transformation of the area in suburban Olsztyn: - greens systems surrounding Olsztyn city are particularly valuable and fortunately their value has been noticed in strategic and planning documents which are a basis for city development, - existing natural limitations strongly conditioned creation and development of Olsztyn suburban zones, however incoherent or spontaneous investment actions which cause deformation of the existing cultural characteristics of the region or settlement unit are often noticed, - increasing interest in building areas in towns situated in the so called external green ring which surrounds Olsztyn city; on one hand they allow management of the area inside the city, designating those areas for functions other than dwelling functions (most of all decrease in leisure areas in the centre of the city does not occur), on the other hand because of unskilful shaping of the building they can cause degradation of the countryside, - an essential part in shaping the sense of bondage or, otherwise, identity with the place in question (a town, a street, building estate, a city, a region) should create educational systems which ought to care for knowledge of present and future generations about specificity of space shaping of an area in question (kind of buildings, its height, slant of roof, materials, way of implementation of a plot, etc.) - it is necessary to create systems of managing space in urban centres together with their external zone where appropriate areas are designated as biologically active and create leisure zones in suburban zones in spite of the lack of natural limits.
