The paper deals with the high dynamic properties of singlephase dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) using instantaneous power factor determination. Providing virtual approach and application of orthogonal transform theory the ordinary single-phase system can be transformed into equivalent two-axes system. The new thought is based on the idea that ordinary single-phase quantity can be complemented by virtual fictitious phase so that both of them will create orthogonal system, as is usual in three-phase systems. Application of above-mentioned theory makes it possible to use complex methods of analysis as instantaneous active, reactive power and power factor determination. The later is necessary for using of minimum energy control for dynamic voltage restorer. Practical application of instantaneous active, reactive power and power factor determination method uses moving average technique. The paper shows some examples of the simulation experiments results, which proved fast dynamic response of DVR.

The paper deals with the basic features of the current- and voltage harmonics and power factor generated by AC railways, theory and methods of current harmonics propagation modelling and the overhead line properties which are essential for the harmonics transmission via traction substation into the power system. Some results from the measurement accomplished in the transformer station as well as on the laboratory model are also presented, together with the suggestions for the mentioned impacts elimination by means of filtering and compensating stations and/or active filters.

W artykule opisano podstawowy obraz harmonicznych prądu i napięcia wprowadzanych do systemu elektroenergetycznego przez układy zasilania trakcji elektrycznej prądu przemiennego oraz moc bierną pobieraną przez takie układy. Przedstawiono metodologię analizy propagacji prądów wysokiej częstotliwości w sieciach trakcyjnych i zasilających sieciach napowietrznych, istotną dla analizy transmisji harmonicznych z podstacji trakcyjnych do systemu elektroenergetycznego. Podano wyniki pomiarów przeprowadzonych w stacjach transformatorowych oraz obliczeń modelowych. Zaproponowano metody eliminacji niekorzystnych oddziaływań systemu trakcji elektrycznej prądu przemiennego poprzez zastosowanie kompensacji oraz filtrów pasywnych i aktywnych.
