Rozwój transportu kolejowego nie jest możliwy bez kompleksowej modernizacji stacji i węzłów kolejowych, jeśli kolej chce utrzymać się na rynku transportowym. Artykuł prezentuje najniezbędniejsze zmiany układów torowych i obiektów stacyjnych w nowych warunkach przemian europejskiego systemu transportowego. Modernizacji powinny również podlegać elementarne węzły torowe (rozjazdy), a w szczególności poprzez wzmocnienie ich konstrukcji nośnej.

Modernization of railway is not possible without complex modernization of railway stations and junctions what will be their preparation for fulfilling the main tasks of railway for the future. The paper presents some of the most necessary arrangements, without completing them, the railway will not be able to compete with other modes of transport. There are also presented some results from up to now use of the unconventional material Geoweb for the restoration of the railway subgrade in the turnout.

The article deals with the main directions of the development of the Slovak railway transport. It's focused mainly on the supposed state of the modernisation of the ŽSR corridor lines. The article contains time and economic horizons of the modernisation of the corridors No 4,5 and 6 and it also includes some new construction units of permanent way and their use for the purpose of modernisation of ŽSR lines.

Artykuł omawia gówne kierunki rozwoju kolejowego na Słowacji, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem stanu modernizacji korytarzy transportowych ŽSR. Przedstawiono prognozy czasowe i ekonomiczne modernizacji korytarzy nr 4, 5 i 6. Praca omawia również konstrukcje elementów nawierzchni kolejowej oraz ich zastosowanie podczas rekonstrukcji linii ŽSR.

W artykule przedstawiono obecne możliwości przeprowadzenia linii kolejowych dużych prędkości przez terytorium Słowacji, zaproponowanych po to, by umożliwić ich udział w korytarzach transportowych północ-południe i wschód-zachód. Podano również przybliżone czasy przejazdu pomiędzy stacjami na północnej linii dużych prędkości dla projektowanej prędkości 250km/h.

The paper presents up-to-date possibilities of leading of high-speed railway lines through the territory of Slovakia, which were proposed with the aim to enable their attachement to the corridors in north-south and east-west directions. Then is gives a survey of running times for design speed V=250 km/h on the northern route of high-speed lines.č

W artykule omówiono metodę obliczania prędkości pociągów oraz parametrów toru na podejściu do stacji kolejowej. Celem badań było określenie możliwości zastosowania niższych parametrów projektowych w strefie hamowania i rozruchu składów pociągów.

In this paper there are given tables and figures with data which can be just used in the process of modernization of railway lines for the maximum speed of 160 km/h. The use of the above mensioned data can eliminate the possibility of the uselles reconstruction. For example, the starting distance is 10.1 km for the maximum speed at 160km/h in the least favourable grade conditions. This means that the track set will not reach the maximum speed up to this kilometer and as a result of it, it is possible to use direction curves for smaller speed as the speed limit over a track.‹Ef…Ŕ|
