The paper presents a powerful algorithm useful to solve the problem of experimental data values finding don't occur within the registered experimental data set by using the one-dimensional polynomial interpolation procedure via a cubic spline method. Described free algorithm is presented in the form of Matlab routine with short author's comments.

The rolling resistance (RR) of tyres under vertical load can be measured in the laboratory on a large smooth rolling drum. We have determined the most suitable the steel belt angle. The higher steel belt angle leads to lower rolling resistance, to the better comfort and lower fuel consumption.

In terms of ISO 9001, art. 49 we can qualify the heat treatment as one of so called "special processes". With these, we need to find out the identity or non-identity of the products by means of qualified exams (control of fracture surfaces on SEM). This can remarkably increase safety and durability of parts after their converting, because it guarantees the optimal ratio of strenght, plastic and brittle fracture properties. Advantages of the applied method: - Existing verified method and sufficiently augmented instrument technique (SEM). - Operatively and objectivity of the test. - Unpretentiousness of sample preparation. Relatively low price, regarding the heat treatment batch price, or complaints expenses.

Content available remote Measurements of External Temperature in Rolling Tyre

In this paper we are presenting a complex system for the simultaneous contact-less measurement of external tyre temperatures. The measurement is fully automatic, controlled by a personal computer, and installed "in situ" on the car. The global position system, which is connected with the PC, allows simultaneous measurements of temperatures, pressure and also the car speed.

After processing the all six measurements on thermocouples and evaluation of Aramis measurement, I will mathematically simulate dependency the parameters setting of final tyre properties by preset the running of vulcanization process. In case of success, this will allow to change final characteristics of vulcanized product without a change of green tyre composition (to program type of characteristic the finished tyre in advance), naturally in predefined range of individual parameters.

In this paper we present the contact measurement of thermal transport properties of distinguished laminate using the extended dynamic plane source (EDPS) method. All used methods are appropriate for the determination of thermal transport properties of materials with low thermal conductivity. Measurement errors do not exceed five percent. We have measured thermal transport properties of laminate in vertical and horizontal directions.
