Why are people scared of physics? Who is to blame? People see physics as boring mathematical exercises and rules. Why cannot we present our fascination with Nature? Why physics is taught in school without fun and without adventure of discovery? How can we make people understand Nature? Home equipment can be used to explain fundamentals of physics. Simple experiments outside laboratories are very often closer to everyday life of pupils and students. Didactics of physics is a new branch of science and has to be explored. We have to find a new approach to teaching physics. The author's experience in TV science programs and physics shows is presented. What can physicists do together for better public understanding of physics?
