It was given the problem statement for observation control of technological processes with parallel technological stages and analytical analyses. Control of observations was reduced to non linear optimal problem. There were created algorithms of problem solution by computer. Results received are useful to minimize the functional depending on expenses of observation.

Shungite rocks were investigated as possible adsorbents and catalyst for ozone removal and use in coal liquefaction. It was shown that the shungite action is based on shungite carbon properties. Shungites may be used successfully for ozone removal after water treatment and then as additives in coal liquefaction.

Earthy brown coal, its humic acids, and their derivs. were investigated in coal ozonation and liquefaction. Ozonation was used for coal modification to liquefy coals and to produce possible adsorbents and catalysts.
