This article presents a brief overview of weighing systems and devices designed to facilitate fluent and safe road traffic. The number of vehicles on roads is perpetually on the rise, resulting in increased wear of road surfaces. This is why weight check gates have widely been implemented to check the speed and weight of a vehicle against what is permitted by law. A cheaper, albeit more time-consuming, traffic weighing alternative would involve weighing points using weighbridges or mobile axle scales. The second part of this article examines the development of an axle scale. The design and calculation works were performed with the use of the Creo Parametric CAD system and the ANSYS Workbench FEM system.
The aim of this paper is to detail the creation of a large tapered roller bearing model with flexible body cages in the Adams program suite for subsequent dynamic analysis and to obtain information about kinematic and dynamic relationships of steel and plastic cages under various operating conditions. The bearing model was made to closely resemble its real-life counterpart, which allows us to estimate load conditions, dynamic conditions of individual bearing parts and interactions between them.
This article deals with the economizer as one of the main parts of a boiler. Economizers and air heaters perform a key function in providing high overall boiler thermal efficiency by recovering the low level energy from the flue gas before it is exhausted to the atmosphere. The most common and reliable economizer design is the bare-tube, in-line, cross-flow type. To reduce capital costs, most boiler manufacturers build economizers with a variety of designs to enhance the controlling gas-side heat transfer rate. From this point of view it creates a lack for an investigation and modeling of these parts.
W artykule dokonano analizy wpływu zmiennych pól temperatury na połączenie śrubowe. Przyjęto model połączenia napiętego siłą wstępną a następnie poddanego obciążeniu siłą roboczą z równoczesnym przepływem ciepła przez złącze. W obliczeniach wykorzystano dwa rodzaje analizy: static (standardowa analiza statyczna), oraz coupled temp-displacement (sprzężona analiza termiczna). Analizie poddano tu właściwości na kierunku stycznym, normalnym oraz przewodność cieplna między elementami. W rezultacie dokonano analizy wytrzymałościowej obejmującej rozkład naprężeń i przemieszczeń dla całego złącza oraz dla wyizolowanego układu śrub. Przeprowadzono analizę porównawczą z wynikami uzyskanymi w drodze badań eksperymentalnych.

In the article they made analysis of the influence of changeable fields of the temperature on the screw connection. A model of the connection stretched by force was accepted preliminary but next surrendered to the burden with the workforce with the simultaneous heat flow through the connector. In calculations two types of analysis were exploited: static (standard static analysis), and coupled temp-displacement (conjugated thermal analysis). Here properties were analyzed on tangent, normal direction and thermal conductivity between elements. As a result they made endurance analysis grasping the schedule of stresses and transfers for the entire connector and for the isolated system of screws. A comparative analysis was conducted with results achieved by way of experimental studies.
This contribution deals with the tests of hydromechanical variator of IVT type on a test stand and overhaul of old truck for tests of this IVT at real conditions. The controling system of this IVT is also shown.
