Management is identified with the managerial activities directed towards continuous improvement of the rules of behaviour in a given organization and tailoring them to the current requirements and expectations of consumers. The implementation process of formal management systems (single or integrated) forces an enterprise to generate innovativeness that makes a reply for the emerging need of continuous improvement. This ensures an organisation the competitive advantage, prestige as well as tangible benefits resulting from the enhancement of manufacturing processes or providing services. In the below article, the state of the implementation of formal management systems in enterprises and their influence on the level of innovativeness together with benefits resulting from their implementation upon the case study of the companies from Lubuskie is discussed.

Zarządzanie utożsamiane jest z działalnością kierowniczą zorientowaną na ciągłe doskonalenie reguł postępowania w danej organizacji i dostosowywanie ich do aktualnych potrzeb i oczekiwań konsumentów. Wdrażanie sformalizowanych systemów zarządzania (pojedynczych lub zintegrowanych) wymusza generowanie przez przedsiębiorstwo innowacji, które stanowią odpowiedź na pojawiającą się potrzebę ciągłego doskonalenia. Zapewnia to organizacji przewagę konkurencyjną, prestiż jak i również wymierne korzyści materialne związane z usprawnieniem procesów wytwarzania lub świadczenia usług. W artykule omówiono stan wdrożenia sformalizowanych systemów zarządzania w przedsiębiorstwach a także ich oddziaływanie na poziom innowacyjności lubuskich firm oraz korzyści wynikające z ich wprowadzenia.
