Nowelizacja ustawy o promocji zatrudnienia z marca 2014 roku przyniosła istotne zmiany w podejściu do przeciwdziałania bezrobociu. Dotyczą one między innymi bezrobotnych młodych, którzy stanowią duży odsetek wśród grona bezrobotnych. Znalazło to swoje odzwierciedlenie w ustaleniu nowego progu wieku dla tej kategorii pojęciowej i ustanowieniu nowej grupy szczególnego ryzyka na rynku pracy, czyli bezrobotnych do 30. roku życia. Publikacja zawiera szczegółową analizę i ocenę nowych instrumentów wsparcia przewidzianych dla wskazanej grupy bezrobotnych na przykładzie bonów szkoleniowych, bonów stażowych, bonów zatrudnieniowych i bonów na zasiedlenie, a także refundacji składek na ubezpieczenie społeczne za bezrobotnych do ukończenia 30. roku życia podejmujących pierwsze zatrudnienie.

Amendments to the Act on Promotion of Employment enacted in March 2014 brought significant changes in the approach to combating unemployment. They concern, among others issues, unemployed young people, who represent a large percentage of the group of the unemployed. This was reflected in establishing a new threshold age for this conceptual category and forming a new group of a particular risk in the labor market, meaning the unemployed up to 30 years of age. The article contains a detailed analysis and evaluation of new support facilities provided for the specified group of unemployed on the example of training vouchers, internship vouchers, employment vouchers and vouchers referring settlement, as well as refund of social security contributions for the unemployed under age of 30 who are taking up employment for the first time.

This article explores the current state of research in hydrogeology and the future challenges of fundamental and applied hydrogeology. A bibliometric analysis was conducted in the first part of the paper in order to evaluate groundwater research. It was based on papers published in Hydrogeology Journal and Journal of Hydrology in the period 2010–2014. This two journals were chosen arbitrary as most representatives for groundwater research for many reasons. The first journal published the largest number of articles and the second one has the highest percentage of publications related to groundwater research. Another reason was the field of research presented in this two journals: regional hydrogeology and methods. The bibliometric analysis summarizes output and research hotspots in groundwater studies. A keywords analysis showed that regional hydrogeology, methods and research techniques, isotopes and tracers and hydrogeochemistry were the main research areas in the study period. Then the citation data were used form these two journals and from the period 2001–2015 to assess the main areas of research. This analysis showed that methods of studies, recharge, ground water/surfaced water interaction and hydrogeochemistry were the main research areas in the studied period. The second part of this paper presents the main challenges for hydrogeology and it is based on many papers published in the period of last ten years. One of the greatest challenges in hydrogeology is fundamental science on regional scale .The demand is in determining universal theory on dominant processes on the regional scale, mainly with respect to groundwater recharge, groundwater/surface water interaction and transport processes. Finally the regional scale research imply interdisciplinary research.

Omówiono przygotowaną przez pracowników Biblioteki Uniwersytetu Śląskiego oraz Instytutu Bibliotekoznawstwa i Informacji Naukowej Uniwersytetu Śląskiego bazę "Naukowe i fachowe polskie czasopisma elektroniczne". Przedstawiono kryteria doboru czasopism do bazy oraz strukturę rekordu jak również szczegóły techniczne dotyczące przygotowania bazy (w programie MS Access) i jej udostępnienia w Internecie. Na podstawie danych o 599 tytułach zgromadzonych w bazie scharakteryzowano tematyka czasopism elektronicznych, ich częstotliwość oraz możliwości dostępu do pełnych tekstów.

The article describes the,,Polish scientific and professional electronic journals" database created by researchers from the Silesian University. Journal selection criteria, record structure and technical details related to database development and publishing on the Internet were presented. On the basis of 599 journal titles gathered in the database, the contents, frequency and full text availability were characterized.
