An extraordinary attention is dedicated to the evaluation of fatigue damage and technical life of different technical systems all over the world because breakdowns caused by a fatigue failure have often a nature of catastrophe. Material fatigue of parts of technical means in critical infrastructure (particularly oversized systems and technological devices) belongs to the most frequent causes of boundary states rise and relating operation breakdowns. Paper contains general formulation of reliability and safety of technical systems judging, brief characteristic of basic areas to be taken in account as input into calculated prediction of technical systems fatigue damage and analysis of risk items by its practical application on a transport means in real working conditions.

The paper deals with one of possible ways of an identification of stochastically loaded mechanically structures. The purpose of this approach is to find an algorithm of a forecasting control of their working in real working conditions. It deals with a proposal of an application of vector time series moving average models (VARMA). Their parameters are possible to determine using the nonlinear modification of the least squares method. The paper contains a theoretical principle of problems solved and a description of a real testing methodise.

The goal of this paper will be to present FEM application in the TATRA 815 lorry frame structure fatigue life estimation. Structure critical nodes from the fatigue damage point of view have been found and analyzed. Analysis of the particular traffic states influence on the fatigue damage cumulation is going to be presented too.

Celem referatu było zaprezentowanie zastosowania Metody Elementów Skończonych (FEM) dla oszacowania trwałości zmęczeniowej ramy samochodu ciężarowego TATRA 815. Odnaleziono i przeanalizowano węzły konstrukcji, które są krytyczne z punktu widzenia uszkodzenia zmęczeniowego. Przedstawiono również analizę wpływu konkretnych stanów ruchu na kumulację uszkodzeń spowodowanych zmęczeniem.
