The boundaries of numerous hydrocarbon deposits are defined by lithology change, and cut off permeability 0.1 mD in the case of gas, or 1 mD in the case of oil, considered as a limit of reasonable hydrocarbon recovery. Beyond such limit, hydrocarbon accumulations obviously occur, but the possibility of their free movement is limited. Therefore, they may be treated as unconventional - tight gas, for example. Such hybrid, combined conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon accumulations are common in various formations. Their simultaneous exploitation is possible as demonstrated by the Przemyśl, Lubaczów and Słopnice gas fields. The occurrence of unconventional hydrocarbon accumulation in hybrid deposits should be clearly presented in geological reports and considered in exploitation planning.

W referacie omówiono problemy związane z dokumentowaniem zasobów złóż węglowodorów po wejściu w życie "Prawa geologicznego i górniczego" oraz rozporządzeń wykonawczych na poszczególnych etapach prowadzenia działalności górniczej i wydobywanie kopalin, a kończąc na likwidacji złoża. Przedstawiono sposoby określania wielkości zasobów geologicznych w dokumentacji geologicznej na etapie rozpoznawania oraz eksploatacji złoża, wyliczania zasobów przemysłowych w projekcie zagospodarowania złoża, a skończywszy na rozliczeniu zasobów. Zagadnienia te uwzględniają specyfikę wielohoryzontowych złóż gazu ziemnego i zostały zilustrowane przykładami z eksploatacji tych złoż.

The paper describes problems connected with hydrocarbons deposits documentation after the introduction of "Geological and mining law" and executive directives at different stages of mining activity, starting from searching and identifying oil and earth gas deposits, trough planning the mining operation, exploitation and finishing with deposit closing. It presents methods of identification of geological resources size in geological documentation at the stage of deposit reconnaissance and exploitation, enumeration of industrial resources in the project of deposit management, and calculating the resources. The issues consider specific ploblems of multihorizontal earth gas deposit and are illustrated with examples of the deposits exploitation.
