Nowadays, the dynamics of variability marked by technologisation and digitisation cannot be underestimated. New technologies identified with Economy 4.0 affect almost every dimension of the modern world. The level of competitiveness of modern economies is determined by the implementation and diffusion of innovations based on new technologies. Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), the Internet of Everything (IoE), hyperconnectivity, cloud computing applications and services, Big Data Analytics (BDA), Big-Data-as-a-Service (BDaaS), automation and robotisation are just a few of the technologies that the authors found worth looking at in more detail with regard to transport. Digital transformation is also a new opportunity as well as a challenge for business. This paper indicates the metamorphosis that transport has undergone as a result of the injection of new technologies. The presented material has been collected in the course of the source research carried out using the idiographic method. A critical analysis of available documents and literature, as well as digital sources, has made it possible to identify the benefits of injecting new technologies in transport as an effect of adaptability to the digital age.

Celem niniejszej artykułu jest analiza logistycznych aspektów systemu łączności trankingowej na potrzeby służb bezpieczeństwa publicznego i zarządzania kryzysowego Projektowany system będzie posiadał możliwość prowadzenia bezpiecznych korespondencji radiowych w trybie indywidualnym, grupowym oraz rozgłoszeniowym, przesyłanie danych tekstowych i statusowych. Unikalną cechą systemu będzie też możliwość szerokopasmowego przesyłania danych, w tym strumieni wideo pomiędzy abonentami, a serwerem systemu oraz pełna interoperacyjność względem starszych, aktualnie użytkowanych systemów. Dodatkowo projektowane rozwiązanie będzie zapewniało dużo większy poziom bezpieczeństwa korespondencji wykorzystując szyfrowanie oparte na algorytmie blowfish 128-bit lub SSL. Natomiast wykorzystanie dotykowych konsol dyspozytorskich IPCom zapewni niespotykaną na rynku ergonomię oraz prostotę pracy na stanowiskach dyspozytorów radiowych.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the logistical aspects of the trunk communications system for public safety and crisis management purposes. The proposed system will have the ability to conduct secure radio correspondence in individual, group and broadcast modes, and to send text and status data. The unique feature of the system will also be the possibility of broadband data transfer, including video streams between subscribers and the system server, and full interoperability with older, currently used systems. In addition, the proposed solution will provide a much higher level of correspondence security using encryption based on the 128-bit blowfish algorithm or SSL. On the other hand, the use of IPCom's touch control consoles will provide unmatched ergonomics and simplicity in the work of radio dispatchers.

Artykuł przedstawia analizę statystyk wypadkowości w transporcie z udziałem samochodów ciężarowych oraz przyczyn powstawania tych incydentów, będących podstawą do zidentyfikowania obszarów problemowych wymagających monitorowania. Stanowi on teoretyczne wprowadzenie do modelowania ekonometrycznego wypadkowości w branży, które będzie przedmiotem pracy i analiz w kolejnych opracowaniach autorów.

This article presents an analysis of statistics on accidents involving the transport lorries, and cause of these incidents, which are the basis for identifying problem areas that require monitoring. It is a theoretical introduction to the econometric modeling of accidents in the industry, which will be the subject of work and analysis in subsequent studies the authors.
