Wystawy ogrodnicze BUGA w Niemczech, w tym ich międzynarodowe edycje IGS, ale także podobne imprezy regionalne LAGA są przedsięwzięciami, które tworzą wizerunek współczesnych europejskich trendów w kształtowaniu krajobrazu. Prowadzą one działalność wielokierunkową, u której podstaw leży kształtowanie wizji współczesnego krajobrazu polegające na budowaniu świadomości krajobrazowej, wzorców edukacji i fizycznym tworzeniu nowych elementów i kompozycji krajobrazowych. Przeniesienie doświadczeń wystaw ogrodniczych BUGA na grunt polski pozwoliłoby na budowanie polskiego krajobrazu według najnowszych standardów.

BUGA – Federal Garden Show, IGS – International Garden Show and LAGA – Regional Garden Show in Germany are projects which create the image of contemporary European trends in shaping landscape. They conduct multi-directorial activity that consists in building landscape awareness, a model of education and the real creation of new landscape elements and compositions. Shaping the vision of contemporary landscape underlies this activity. Transplanting BUGA experience into the Polish soil would allow for building the Polish landscape according to the latest standards.

The study of thermal spas involves various research methodologies. It has become especially important nowadays when the latest technologies and ideas of shaping architecture, space, water and healthy lifestyle can be applied to create thermal spas. Developing modern European spas widen their offer by expanding complementary services that meet the needs of people in different age groups, who do not necessarily require rehabilitation. Examples of Austrian spas that use geothermal water in Styria and Burgenland show the effectiveness of this approach, particularly in the context of the evolution of the structure of objects in wellness and SPA types, by building multifunctional infrastructure.

Badania w dziedzinie termalnych obiektów spa prowadzone są na wiele sposobów z wykorzystaniem różnych metod badawczych. Temat ten stał się nadzwyczaj istotny właśnie teraz, kiedy najnowsze technologie, kreujące architekturę, przestrzeń, wodę i zdrowy styl życia, mogą być zastosowane do tworzenia termalnych obiektów spa. Rozwijające się współcześnie europejskie spa poszerzają własne oferty o usługi zaspokajające potrzeby grup zróżnicowanych wiekowo, niekoniecznie wymagających rehabilitacji zdrowotnej. Przykłady austriackich obiektów wykorzystujących wody geotermalne w Styrii i Burgenlandzie pokazują efektywność takiego podejścia, szczególnie w kontekście ewolucji struktury obiektów typu wellness i spa, poprzez budowanie ich wielofunkcyjnej infrastruktury.

Hamburg has become a world-class innovation centre indicating the direction of ecological transformations in the 21st century. Internationale Bauausstellung (International Building Exhibition) IBA Hamburg 2006–2013 is a rebuilding process unfolding over many years and being an answer to the question about the architectural future of cities; it is a place where the latest achievements of building technology and designs of the architecture of the future are presented. Internationale Gartenscha (International Garden Show) IGS Hamburg 2013 offers a new municipal park in Wilhelmsburg to its inhabitants, where they can find leisure, recreation and educational grounds. Modern residences, office buildings and shops were built on the edges of the park within the IBA. The whole creates a harmonious green space defining a new quality of living. These enterprises show how to transform a neglected urban space in a sustainable manner so that it is both attractive for people and environmentally-friendly.

Hamburg stał się światowej klasy centrum innowacji, wyznaczającym kierunek ekologicznych przemian w XXI wieku. Internationale Bauausstellung (Międzynarodowa Wystawa Budowlana) IBA Hamburg 2006–2013 to proces odbudowy rozłożony na lata, będący odpowiedzią na pytanie o architektoniczną przyszłość miast, to miejsce, gdzie prezentowane są najnowsze osiągnięcia technologii budowlanej i projekty architektury przyszłości. Internationale Gartenschau (Międzynarodowa Wystawa Ogrodowa) IGS Hamburg 2013 oferuje mieszkańcom Hamburga nowy park miejski w Wilhelmsburgu. W parku można znaleźć tereny do wypoczynku, rekreacji i edukacji. Na obrzeżach parku w ramach IBA powstały nowoczesne rezydencje mieszkalne biurowce i sklepy. Całość tworzy harmonijną zieloną przestrzeń, wyznaczającą nową jakość życia. Przedsięwzięcia pokazują, jak można w sposób zrównoważony przekształcać zaniedbaną przestrzeń miejską tak, aby była atrakcyjna dla ludzi, a zarazem przyjazna środowisku.

The paper gives some information about three awarded structures in Thuringen - Germany. The selected structures are: [i] New Theater in Erfurt with interesting structure of winding stairs, roof-shell and transparent facade, [ii] Toscana Therme in Bad Sulza near Weimar, with organic, curved roof-shell in woodstructure, [iii] Auerwold Palace in Auerstadt near Weimar built as an organic structure with willow switches growing in the ground.

The experience, kindness and understanding of Professor Oskar Buttner, who was invited to the realization of Building System's program experience, let me and my co-operation colleagues reach an educational and designing level, which is going to be our best example for the following years. The result of this co-operation are designs of splendid architectural forms and interesting building-construction treatments worked out in details. The broad Professor's knowledge in the construction field and his experience in educational, designing and performing work made the students. creative invention follow highly developed building and construction problems. In my opinion, that kind of co-operation has given not only the posiibility of showing the role of building technologies in Landscape Architecture education but first of all has shown that experience and broad knowledge of the retired research worker could still be used for the mutual benefit.

Przedstawiono dwie propozycje rozwiązania problemu sterowania transportem w zakładach mleczarskich. Pierwsza dotyczy wykorzystania metody Clarke'a i Wrighta'a znanej jako teoria okien czasowych. Drugi pomysł powstał w Katedrze Maszyn i Urządzeń Rolniczych Akademii Rolniczej w Lublinie i polega na wybieraniu rozwiązania optymalnego przez przegląd wszystkich możliwych kombinacji zestawiania zapisanych w bazie danych środków transportowych oraz urządzeń za- i wyładunkowych dotyczących skupu mleka. Metodę zweryfikowano na przykładzie RSM w Łaszczowie.

Paper presented two proposals of improving the system of transport management in local dairy factories. First proposal deals with the use of Clarke and Wright method, known as a "time window theory". The second idea originated at the Department of Agricultural Machines and Equipment, Agricultural University of Lublin. It consists in selecting an optimum solution through a review of all possible combinations of setting transport means, loading and unloading devices usable to milk purchase and transport, put in the data base. The method was verified on an example of Dairy cooperative at Łaszczów.
