The design parameters of the wagon and its running gear influence on anti-derailment stability. The influence of working order of slab wagons on anti-derailment stability. The mathematical model of six axles special wagon for transport of hot slabs has been worked out. The mathematical model is used for evaluation of the vertical wheel forces on the wrapped track. Some operational factors are analysed. Also some design factors are taken into consideration. The influence of these factors on derailment stability is evaluated. Some proposals for improvement of derailment stability are stated.
