Content available remote New permanent GNSS networks in the Czech Republic and their use in geosciences
EN
In this article the two permanent GNSS networks in the Czech Republic are shortly described. The first one - Czech Positioning System - CZEPOS is being established by the national surveying and mapping authority - Land Survey Office. It is the network of reference slations mainly destinated for users from geodetic and navigation community. The second one is the research and experimental GNSS network - VESOG. This network is jointly created by research and academic institutions. Both networks will be connected. The data from all stations will be usable for geoscientific applications: detected position changes will serve for interpretations in geodynamics, near-real-time data will be used in projects of GPS wound-based meteorology (e.g. TOUGH), real-time data streams will be used for real-time rositioning in the frame of the EUREF-IP project.

The new GPS dual-frequency receiver PolaRx2 from SEPTENTRIO company (Leuven, Belgium) has been developed for static GPS NAVSTAR observations at permanent /geodynamical stations. The instrument was bought last year by the Research Institute of Geodesy, Topography and Cartography, Zdiby (CZ) and was completed by the Topcon CR-3 GGD antenna. Results of six month testing with respect to the Ashtech Z-18 receiver are presented to decide if this instrument is useful for geodynamic observations.

Global horizontal and vertical movements were computed for individual tectonic plates from the velocity vectors published for ITRF2000. For the stations within the frame of those plates the differences from the global displacements and their rms errors were then computed.

EN
The coordinates of 143 EUREF permanent network (EPN) sites were analysed to find the secular time changes. Analysis is based on weekly combined solutions of EPN using method of finding jumps, trends and periodicities. The method of continuum mechanics is applied for possible geodynamical interpretation.
