The study mainly aims to learn about job candidates’ characteristics that influence the declared levels of their general skills (G). The set of characteristics examined included common skills (C), professional skills (P) and other economic and social characteristics of candidates. In this context, it is essential to observe the required knowledge and core skills on the market and to make this knowledge available to decision-makers from public institutions, entrepreneurs and educational institutions. The main research objective is also related to verifying the method used to analyse large multi-dimensional databases of competencies that can be used to improve vocational education and its fit to the labour market. An additional objective of the study is also to find the relationship between the characteristics of the offers (the time of visibility and publication of offers, the distance of the job from the place of residence) and the grouping of competencies in individual professions and occupational groups. It is linked to another problem: identifying factors that influence the design and availability of employee competencies. MARS and CMARS methods were used as neutral computing methodologies to determine the relationship between the response variable (G) and the input variables. Their use allows for commenting on how fulfilment can be determined between the requirements of employers and decision-makers in government. The duration of visibility and publication of the offer might be informative for job candidates and, thus, significantly influence the development of competences in the region. The innovative use of advanced statistical methods to achieve the goal in the area of competence management allows for high precision of the results, reducing risks in making management decisions.

Ocena wybranych udogodnień dla pasażerów autobusowej komunikacji miejskiej w Poznaniu

Artykuł opisuje aktualny stan taboru autobusowej komunikacji miejskiej w Poznaniu, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem udogodnień, w jakie są wyposażone autobusy. Tabor został przeanalizowany pod względem zastosowania wybranych elementów wyposażenia. Luka badawcza została zidentyfikowana jako niedostateczne skupienie się na udogodnieniach występujących w pojazdach, w porównaniu do unowocześniania napędów, zarówno w literaturze, jak i działaniach inwestycyjnych realizowanych przez samorządy terytorialne. Międzynarodowe i krajowe regulacje prawne sukcesywnie skłaniają przewoźników do stopniowej wymiany taboru na elektryczny lub wodorowy. W artykule zostały przedstawione dotychczasowe działania w zakresie modernizacji floty prowadzone przez MPK Poznań oraz plany dalszego jej rozwoju. Nowoczesne pojazdy są wyposażane także w coraz nowocześniejsze udogodnienia dla pasażerów. Obecnie zastosowane udogodnienia różnią się w zależności od typu autobusu. Wśród użytkowników autobusowej komunikacji miejskiej zostało przeprowadzane badanie ankietowe mające na celu poznanie opinii dotyczącej wybranych udogodnień oraz kierunków ich rozwoju w przyszłości. Zbadane zostało także podejście pasażerów do unowocześniania floty pod względem napędów elektrycznych i wodorowych. Ustalono, z których udogodnień pasażerowie korzystają najchętniej, które uważają za zbędne, a które za występujące w zbyt małej ilości. Wskazano możliwe kierunki dalszego rozwoju udogodnień, dostosowane do preferencji pasażerów.

The article deals with the current status of the public transport bus fleet in Poznań and its facilities. The rolling stock has been analysed in terms of the availability of selected items of equipment. The research gap was identified as an insufficient focus on the amenities found in vehicles, compared to drive upgrades, both in the literature and in the investment activities of local authorities. The article presents the fleet modernisation activities carried out to date by the MPK Poznań and plans for further development. A survey was conducted among bus users to learn their opinions on selected facilities and the directions for their future development.
