The objective of the present study is to place the ceremonial road in Nowy Winicz within the urbanistic space of Lubomirski's residence as well as to analyse the possibilities of using the architecture of the residence in order to create a definite design concept. It was the Cracow voivode, Stanislav Lubomirski, who had the greatest influence on the final form of the residence. The 17-th century courtly ceremonial determined both the exterior and the interior design. In Winicz, it was to testify to status of Lubomirski. We could learn much about his magnificent court nad courtly customs from the descripition left by one of his courties, and from the religious writings preserved we were able to reconstuct the routes of religious processions.
