Zagadnienie ochrony i kształtowania krajobrazu wymaga z jednej strony wnikliwej analizy stanu istniejącego, traktowanego jako wypadkową dotychczasowych działań lub zaniechań, a z drugiej strony oceny możliwości wpływu na jego utrzymanie, poprawę i zmianę. W tym złożonym procesie szczególną rolę odgrywają obiekty historyczne, których istnienie stanowiło asumpt do powstania osad i miast, a tym samym wiązało się z wymiernym, stopniowym kształtowaniem bliższego i dalszego otoczenia. W artykule podjęto próbę określenia możliwości ochrony i kształtowania krajobrazu w oparciu o średniowieczne fortyfikacje miast Dolnego Śląska. W tym celu opracowano schemat metodologiczny badań, który bazuje na interdyscyplinarnej analizie stanu zachowania obiektów obronnych i oceny ich wpływu na krajobraz. Opracowana Karta Obiektu odnosi się do szczegółowej inwentaryzacji średniowiecznych fortyfikacji miejskich, w tym przestrzeni wydzielonej przez te założenia.

The issue of protection and landscaping on the one hand reąuires a complex analysis of the existing state, seen as the result of previous actions, or inactions, and on the other hand, it assesses the potential impact on its maintenance, improvement and change. In this complex process, the main role plays the historical buildings, which existence was a reason to the formation of the settlements and cities, and thus associated with the rational, gradual shaping of closer and distal environment. In this article has been madę and attempt to the identification the possibilities of protection and shaping the landscape based on the medieval fortifications in the cities in Lower Silesia. The aim of this work was a scheme of methodological research, which bases on an interdisciplinary analysis of the state of preservation of fortified objects and the assessment of its influence on the landscape. The Object Card refers to a detailed inventory of medieval city fortifications, including a divided by these objects area.

Systematycznie rośnie, w wymiarze globalnym, znaczenie energii pochodzącej ze źródeł odnawialnych. Podobnie jest w Polsce, gdzie od kilkunastu lat ze szczególnym przywilejem decyzyjnym, finansowym i lokalizacyjnym buduje się farmy wiatrowe. Celem pracy jest próba przybliżenia i zdefiniowania wpływu lokalizacji farm, w aspekcie rzeczywistym i wirtualnym, na zmianę dotychczasowej tożsamości miejsca.

The relevance of renewable energy worldwide is systematically increasing. The same is true for Poland, where for a dozen years, the construction of wind farms was granted special privileges with regards to decision-making, finance and localization. The purpose of this work is to present and define the impact of wind farm localization both in actual and virtual terms, on changing the identity of a particular place.

The paper presents the results of the work which inherently makes use of the coherent approach to the process of designing single-family detached housing. In the process of architectural planning, the authors have considered the analysis of the location, environmental and landscape qualities, renewable energy installation as well as construction materials along with the technology of erecting single-family houses. The design concept presented in the paper is of interdisciplinary character and integrates the design parameters belonging to the following fields: technology, landscape architecture, bio-climatics and renewable energy.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki pracy, które w sposób immamentny korzystają ze zbornego podejścia w procesie projektowania jednorodzinnego budownictwa wolnostojącego. W procesie projektowania architektonicznego uwzględniono analizę miejsca, walory środowiskowe i krajobrazowe, instalacje energii odnawialnej, a także materiały budowlane z technologią wznoszenia domów jednorodzinnych. Przedstawiona koncepcja projektowa wykonana jest z uwzględnieniem pełnej interdyscyplinarności i integralności parametrów projektowych z obszarów: technicznych, architektury krajobrazu, biolkimatyki i energii odnawialnej.

Farmy wiatrowe są głównym podmiotem idei pozyskiwania energii ze źródeł odnawialnych. Mogą być synonimem nowoczesnego myślenia powiązanego z odpowiedzialnością za kształtowanie środowiska. Jednak wymagają wyjątkowych warunków lokalizacyjnych, aby mogły skutecznie i efektywnie działać. Dodatkowo, z uwagi na wielkość pojedynczej elektrowni i całej farmy wiatrowej, stają się dominantą krajobrazową, która w terenie otwartym nie ma naturalnych odpowiedników. W artykule poruszono problem wpływu dwóch farm wiatrowych na krajobraz wiejski, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zmian jakie wnoszą w swoim otoczeniu i zakresu ich oddziaływania.

Wind farms are the most commonly used sources of renewable energy. They are a symbol of modern innovation with concern for the environment. However, they require exceptionally well-judged locations to operate efficiently and effectively. Additionally, due to the size of the turbines and the whole wind farm, they dominate the landscape feature as no other natural feature in an open area. This article discusses problems from the impact of two wind farms on the surrounding rural landscape, with particular focus on the changes brought to the environment and the reach of the impact.
