To use effectively any radiation detector in high-temperature plasma experiments, it must have a lot of benefits and fulfill a number of requirements. The most important are: a high energy resolution, linearity over a wide range of recorded particle energy, high detection efficiency for these particles, a long lifetime and resistance to harsh conditions existing in plasma experiments and so on. Solid-state nuclear track detectors have been used in our laboratory in plasma experiments for many years, but recently we have made an attempt to use these detectors in spectroscopic measurements performed on some plasma facilities. This paper presents a method that we used to elaborate etched track diameters to evaluate the incident projectile energy magnitude. The method is based on the data obtained from a semiautomatic track scanning system that selects tracks according to two parameters, track diameter and its mean gray level.

This work presents a new pedagogical approach in learning electronic engineering which includes the use of active and interactive learning techniques. Interactive tasks are developed with the basic aim to make it easier for students to acquire practical knowledge in the field of digital hardware design and design implementation in complex programmable logic circuits. The multimedia application with interactive tasks is mainly developed using Adobe Flash software. The paper describes the model and architecture of a multimedia environment for the realization of interactive tasks by Bayesian approach. The interactive tasks were designed in the academic year 2011, to support the implementation of teaching the subject Programmable logic devices in the Moodle environment. On the basis of surveys carried out at the end of the semester it can be seen that the students’ first experience is very positive.

Interactive multimedia simulations combined with computer game elements can be successfully applied as a new type of educational resources for teaching courses for Computing Science. This works describes the examples of game based interactive modules for learning basic concepts of some teaching units chapter in the course Computer Architecture and Organization. During designing and creation of the teaching unit for game based multimedia interactive module we used one of constructivist teaching methods – concept maps.

Multimedialny system symulacji w połączeniu z elementami gier komputerowych może być z powodzeniem stosowany jako nowy typ materiału do nauczania kursów Informatyki. Artykuł opisuje przykłady interaktywnych modułów do nauki podstawowych pojęć architektury komputerów. Do projektowania i utworzenia jednostki nauczania gry użyto jednej z metod nauczania - mapy koncepcji.
