This paper presents an experimental building recently completed and currently occupied. The paper contains a brief description of the building, the method and location of the measurement equipments and monitoring of the building's operation. Initial results show that the operation of the building meets some of the requirements for passive buildings.

W artykule przedstawiono opis eksperymentalnego budynku, niedawno ukończonego a obecnie już użytkowanego. Artykuł zawiera jego krótki opis, metodę i rozlokowanie urządzeń do pomiaru i monitorowania działania budynku. Początkowe rezultaty pokazują już, że sposób funkcjonowania budynku spełnia niektóre wymagania stawiane budynkom pasywnym.

In the article presented below basic factors are suggested which cause increase in thermal losses due to infiltration of air, mainly wind. Air filtration between indoor and outdoor environment is affected by complex influence of a number of factors on air changes (aerodynamic effects of air flow passing around a building, height and density of the developed area, wind direction…). The article outlines the methodology of the aerodynamic quantification for the simplified reference building.

Wind effected on buildings evoke very varied aerodynamic effects. In this article are indicated the basic factors caused increasing heat losses of the buildings from aerodynamic effects of wind. The presented paper is devoted to the problem aerodynamic quantification of buildings – building optimalization for interaction of internal and external pressure changes. The result of whole interaction aerodynamic flow on building is increasing heat losses this buildings.
