The article presents chosen tests results of multifunctional knitting materials for applying as personal a protection equipment for employees exposed to hot thermal factors and a static electricity. The research work included two-layer knitted fabrics with the share of electrostatic and slow-burning yarns. The comfort functional properties of knitted fabrics were determined based on the test results of protective properties against hot thermal factors, electrostatic properties, biophysical indicators and the microbiological evaluation confirming antibacterial properties. Developed technological solutions constitutes the subject of the application for a patent No. P. 410299 from 28.11.2014, and antibacterial finishing of knitted fabrics the application for a patent No.P.402690 (06.02.2013).

The article presents the results of research work containing design and construction works of protective clothing. The physical effort was measured on cycloergonometer device as well as the assessment of physiological comfort of clothing garments made of double layer knitting materials with flame retardant and antistatic properties. The removal of moisture and steam from user skin surface takes place at a certain time of recovery phase. Analysis of the characteristics of changes of the underwear microclimate properties showed that developed technical and technological solutions ensure the biophysical properties for the protective clothing. The garments that have been assessed can be used as a personal protection goods which provides using comfort.
