Od 2004 roku w ramach tematu „Wskaźniki społeczeństwa informacyjnego” Główny Urząd Statystyczny prowadzi badania wykorzystania technologii informacyjno-telekomunikacyjnych między innymi w gospodarstwach domowych. Artykuł przedstawia najnowsze wyniki tych badań w zakresie wybranych obszarów e-biznesu, a mianowicie: e-administracji i e-handlu.

Since 2004, under the theme “Indicators of the Information Society” the Central Statistical Office conducts research of using ICT , among others in the households. This article presents the latest results of these studies in selected areas of e-business, such as e-government and e-commerce.

Od 2004 roku w ramach tematu „Wskaźniki społeczeństwa informacyjnego” Główny Urząd Statystyczny prowadzi badania wykorzystania technologii informacyjno-telekomunikacyjnych między innymi w gospodarstwach domowych. W roku 2010 badania te, prowadzone wśród osób indywidualnych (kwestionariusz indywidualny), zostały wzbogacone o dział „Bezpieczeństwo w Internecie”. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki tych badań.

Since 2004, under the theme „Information Society Indicators” Central Statistical Office conducts research using information and communication technology among others in the household. In 2010, these studies, among individuals (individual questionnaire), have been enhanced by the department which is called „Safety on the Internet”. The article presents the results of these research.

W artykule zwrócono uwagę na niektóre z nich, a mianowicie na portale związane z zawieraniem znajomości, rynkiem pracy, ze zdrowiem i motoryzacją.

Last years social portals have increasing popularity among Internet users. Portals can be grouped to different categories in regard of them subject area. The article presents some of them like: connections portals, job portals, health portals and motors portals.

The Internet plays very important role in many aspects of life and exemplifies very special chance for many people, in particular for the handicapped. An access to modern information technologies can be important element of contact with environment for the handicapped, but lack of the access can causes them marginality. That is why, there is need of different ventures in range of professional trainings, financial support and help in buying hardware and software, etc. The note should be also taken of sociological -psychological aspects, because they can assume the proportions of basic barrier, which can slow down social and economic activiation of the handicapped.
