Artykuł jest próbą analitycznego podejścia do rozkładu jazdy pociągów 2013/2014 obowiązującego od grudnia 2013 roku. Rozkład analizowany jest pod kątem liczby połączeń, ich przestrzennego rozmieszczenia w Polsce południowej. Za pomocą naukowej metody izochron (metoda kartograficzna) poddano analizie czas przejazdu a tym samym jego atrakcyjność i konkurencyjność. Artykuł kończą wnioski na temat możliwości, perspektyw, mocnych i słabych stron rozwoju sieci komunikacyjnej transportu kolejowego w Polsce południowej pod kątem ich wykorzystania przez turystów udających się do największych kurortów położonych w Karpatach, Sudetach, Górach Świętokrzyskich.

The text refers to transport geography and tourism geography. This is the analysis of railroad connections between largest tourist destinations in southern part of Poland and another cities. Using cartographic methodology like isochrone map the author try to find transport-to-tourism influence. The question is - how the southern regions of Poland are connected with rest of country and where this situation is better developped. What is the problem of good rail connections in this case and how to find the best solution?

The paper describes decomposition of gray medical images. Pixels of the image are assigned with the variable values derived from a neighbourhood of the pixel. Then Grade Correspondence Cluster Analysis is used to order set of pixels according to their grade differentiation and to divide pixels into subsets. Subsets are visualized in separate subimages and regions are extracted on principle of spatial neighbourhood in subimage. Influence of a number of subimages is discussed. Then a new grade-spatial procedure is proposed which combines features of grade similarity and spatial neighbourhoods.

The paper describes the influence of variable selection on an image decomposition. A NMR image is a source of a set of variables describing pixels of the image: gray level, gradient magnitude and seven variables derived from gradient magnitudes of neighbouring pixels. A selection of the variables is the essence of the matter at this stage of the image processing. Two suggestions are proposed and tested: a normalization of gradient magnitude of the pixel by dividing it by a value of the gray level, and development of a nonlinear sequence of thresholds which are used in comparison of adjacent pixels.

The paper presents disjoint decomposition of the set of pixels of a NMR image and also of its fragment suggested as interesting by a medical consultant. Each pixel is described by the value of gray level gl, gradient module gm and items constructed on the basis of gm and gradient modules of adjacent pixels. The obtained dataset with rows corresponding to pixels and columns corresponding to variables is then processed by the algorithm called GCCA (Grade Correspondence Cluster Analysis). This rearranges the initial ordering of pixels (and also of variables) and then divides the set of rows into a chosen number of clusters. Pixels in each cluster are visualized as a separate subimage. The resulting decomposition (an ordered sequence of sub images) depends on the choice of a threshold parameter b which strongly influences the comparison of gm with gradient modules in pixel's neighborhood. It is shown how b should be selected to specify the edge of the lateral ventricle and to investigate homogeneity of gm's neighborhoods in the area indicated for the consultant.

Głównym celem niniejszego opracowania jest prezentacja wyników analizy zbioru 601 ankiet zebranych przez Fundację POmocy Matematykom i Informatykom Niesprawnym Ruchowo (FPMiINR) w latach 1997-2001. Ankiety dostarczyły informacji o sytuacji życiowej, społecznej i zawodowej wszystkich respondentów, którzy w tym okresie zgłosili się do Fundacji osobiście, listownie lub przez pocztę elektroniczną, proszą o pomoc w znalezieniu zatrudnienia, nawiązaniu kontaktów, zdobyciu lu podniesieniu kwalifikacji informatycznych etc. Większośc ankiet złożonych w okresie 1997-1999 uaktualniono w 2001 roku. Prace były prowadzone przez osoby z Fundacji i z Zespołu Statystycznej Analizy danych Instytutu Podstaw Informatyki PAN, a końcowa analiza dla pięciolecia 1997-2001 została wykonana przez autorów tego opracowania. Prace wykonane w okresie 1.01-30.11.2001 rozliczały jedno z zadań realizowanych przez Fundację w ramach prac badawczo-rozwojowych w grancie celowym KBN 8T11C 028 2000 C/5024 dotowanym przz Komitet Badań Naukowych (grant dotyczy rehabilitacji zawodowej i społecznej inwalidów ruchu; w ramach prac badawczo-rozwojowych powstaje internetowy system komputerowy dostosowany do potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych). W części A opisano zebrany materiał i wyniki badań, w części B przedstawiono ogólny schemat obiegu i syntezy informacji dotyczących osób niepełnosprawnych i wymieniono źródła tego rodzaju danych, z kt.órych korzystały autorki opracowania. Obecne opracowanie dotyczy tylko ankiet w ich pierwotnej wersji, to jest w momencie nadesłania do Fundacji. Efekty uaktualniania przeprowadzonego w latach 2001 i 2002 będą przedstawione w części A następnego opracowania-pod tym samym tytułem opatrzonym dopiskiem (II) - które powstanie w początkach roku 2003. Znajdzie się tam również informacja o nowym formularzu ankiety, a w części B będzie mowa o organizacji współdziałania w przetwarzaniu i wykorzystywaniu informacji dotyczących środowiska osób niepełnosprawnych.

The paper presents the analysis of 601 questionnaires gathered by the Foundation Supporting Physically Disabled Mathematicians and Computer Specialists in the period 1997-2001. The respondents accessed the Foundation looking for help in finding employment and acquiring computer qualifications. The questionnaires concerned their social and professional situation. The analysts recruited from the Foundation and from the Institute of Computer Science PAS (Statistical Data Analysis Group). Material and results of the analysis are described in Part A. A flowdiagram which shows how information concerning physically disabled people is being found, synthesized and disseminated, is presented in Part B. The next paper (to appear at the beginning of 2003) will describe the effects updating this part of questionnaires which is most concerned with employment.

Opracowanie zawiera opis implementacji oraz wyniki badań metody proceduralnej filtracji i segmentacji maski ruchu, do zastosowania w przetwarzaniu sekwencji obrazów drogi, której koncepcja została opisana w [23]. W szczególności są opisane procedury realizacji poszczególnych gałęzi algorytmu (zwanych testami), przytoczone dane wejściowe (maski ruchu obiektów na scenie), zmienne ze względu na rozległość i intensywność występowania masek ruchu obiektów oraz zakłóceń w kadrze, które były używane do testowania procedur oraz do oceny jakości metody i algorytmu podlegających testowaniu.

The paper contains the description of the implementation and the results of the investigation and testing of a motion mask segmentation and filtration algorithm destinated for processing road frames sequence which was presented at [23]. In particulary, there are presented the procedures realize different branches (called the test) of the algorithm, cited input data (the masks of a scene objects motion), varying depends to extensiveness and intensity of the objects motion masks and disturbances in frames, which have been used to testing of the procedures and to evaluation of quality of the method and algorithm being tested.

Opracowanie zawiera sprawozdanie z badań nad przebiegiem Krzywej Redukcji Obrazu dla różnych typów obrazów (z teksturą i bez, z różnym stopniem wypełnienia obrazu) oraz różnych stopni filtracji wstępnej filtrem gaussowskim. Scharakteryzowano krzywe dla wymienionych przypadków i podjęto próbę interpretacji określonego przebiegu krzywej przy różnych parametrach.

This paper encloses a report on research concerning the nature of the Curve of Image Reduction shape. It is applied to the various types of images (with and without texture, with different image content) as well as different degree of preceding filtering with gaussian filter. There are characterized curves for mentioned cases and attempted to interprete this shapes of the curves taking into account different parameters.
