Artykuł dotyczy parametrycznego rezonansowego żródła prądowego służącego do zasilania różnorodnych odbiorników łukowych. Poprawne własności elektryczne i ekonomiczne, prostota konstrukcji i niezawodność pracy, sprawiają, że układy rezonansowe są bardzo obiecującym rozwiązaniem technicznym. Przedstawiona tu została ogólna zasada działania tego urządzenia oraz podstawowe rodzaje źródeł rezonansowych i ich praktyczne sposoby realizacji. Opisane zostały również sposoby regulacji prądu roboczego.

Parametrical current source is a circuit composed of reactive inductive and capacity components. The circuit must have a steep falling output characteristic. The principle of work uses property of alternating current circuit with electric resonance. Because of connecting the receiver through a matching transformer, we can avoid abrupt increase voltage on the receiver in case of rupturing of electrical arc. We can control working current by changing the supply voltage of the source or changing reactance of reactive branches. Thanks to a connecting the receiver through autotransformer or coil switching transformer, we can change the current of receiver, too. For the working current control we can also use additional coil, coupled with the main coil of the source. By modulation of magnetic coupling coefficient of coils, the value of current can be changed. Losses of energy in the circuit appear only in resistance of the coils. The face value of efficiency is very high (97-99%). The source can transform on the opposite value of the phase angle of the receiver. Parametrical sources are resistant to overcurrent and overvoltage. Serious shortcoming of these circuits is a significant value of control error (4-6%). Dimensions of the components are significant, so the source is sizeable. The parametrical sources have got good electrical and economical parameters. Very simple structure makes them be reliable. The parametrical sources can be used for supplying the arc furnaces for steel melting, vacuous arc and plasma furnaces, contouring arc attachments, electrolysers and other arc receivers.

Przedstawiona tu została ogólna zasada działania tego urządzenia oraz podstawowe rodzaje źródeł rezonansowych i ich praktyczne sposoby realizacji. Opisane zostały również sposoby regulacji prądu roboczego w powyższych układach.

This paper concerns the problem of the parametrical current sources, which use property of alternating current circuit with electric resonance. These sources can be applied to supply various are receivers. The paper contains principle of operation and methods of realization of parametrical sources. Methods of control of work current are given, too.
