This article is focused on two possibilities of perception of transport safety and transport systems. It describes basic characteristics and elements of road safety in the Czech Republic, and differences of safety in rail transport are also remembered. The article discusses traffic accidents as an indicator of road safety. The paper is created with examples of selection and processing of data transport systems, for road and rail transport of the Czech Republic.

Big volume of materials is mined and transported quite often during surface mining, especially in lignite mining. Calculating the volumes of extracted material is one of the primary jobs for mine surveyors. The present paper describes a system (GNSS MineModel) for real-time computing of extraction volumes by means surveying system for localization of bucket wheel of excavators.

Obliczenia dotyczące ilości wydobytego materiały jest jednym z głównych zadań inspektorów górnictwa. Niniejszy artykuł opisuje system (GNSS MineModel) obliczania w czasie rzeczywistym poziomu wydobycia dzięki użyciu systemu geodezyjnego do lokalizacji koparek kołowych.

This paper deals with the tribological and physical property analysis of polypropylene filled by selected natural fibres of vegetable and animal origin (coconut, flax, cellulose and fleece fibres) from the application point of view. Tribological properties of injection parts are evaluated through surface roughness and friction coefficient. Physical properties are evaluated in light of melt flow behaviour, the strength characteristics of injection parts, flammability, and shape stability both under lower and higher temperatures.

Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje właściwości tribologiczne i fizyczne analizy polipropylenu wypełnionego włóknami pochodzenia naturalnego, roślinnego i zwierzęcego (głównie kokosowe, włóknina, len i włókna celulozowe). Właściwości tribologiczne wtryskiwanego detalu są oceniane pod kątem chropowatości powierzchni oraz współczynnika tarcia. Właściwości fizyczne są oceniane pod kątem zachowania przepływu roztopionego materiału, cech wytrzymałościowych wtryskiwanej wypraski, palności i stabilności kształtu wypraski zarówno przy niskich, jak i w wysokich temperaturach.
