The tachograph is the oldest recording device, which belongs to the Group of ORD (On Board Recording Devices). It was introduced in the USA in 1939. Digital tachograph, the new advanced type of recording device in road transport, was introduced by Council Regulation No 2135/98 of 24 September 1998 with the beginning of May 2006, in the area of the European Union. “In contrast to its analogue predecessors the digital tachograph was introduced to facilitate the control of rest and driving times and to prevent manipulation attempt” [1]. In order to prevent abuse, it has been made the system of cryptologic keys and certificates stored in cards and devices, allowing to create an explicit laws of users and authentic data recorded in, cards and devices. Despite the usage of the most advanced keys and protection systems, it has been observed that, in relation to the elements of the digital tachograph system, there are many ways to register invalid data. The European Union has taken action to prevent them, however, they must be implemented in daily life.
Najstarszym urządzeniem rejestrującym jest tachograf, który należy do grupy urządzeń ORD (On Board Recording Devices), a obowiązek jego stosowania wprowadzono w USA już w 1939 roku . Aby rozwiązać te wszystkie problemy, wprowadzono Rozporządzeniem Rady nr 2135/98 z 24 września 1998 roku z początkiem sierpnia 2004 roku, na obszarze Unii Europejskiej, nowy typ urządzenia rejestrującego w transporcie drogowym - tachograf cyfrowy. W celu uniemożliwienia nadużyć, zastosowano złożony system kluczy kryptologicznych i certyfikatów, zapisanych w kratach i urządzeniach, pozwalający na jednoznaczne określenie uprawnień użytkowników oraz autentyczności danych, kart i urządzeń. Mimo wykorzystania najnowocześniejszych kluczy i systemów zabezpieczających, w stosunku do elementów systemu tachografów cyfrowych zaobserwowano wiele sposobów działania aby rejestrowały one nieprawidłowe wielkości. Unia Europejska podjęła odpowiednie działania aby nim zapobiec, niemniej jednak muszą one zostać wdrożone w codzienne życie.

In order to solve these all problems, they led with Directive of Advice No. 2135/98 from 24 September 1998 of the August of 2004 from the beginning of . , in the area of the European Union, new type of registering setting up in the road transport - digital tachograph. In order to make it impossible to abuse, a complex system of keys was applied kryptologicznych and of certificates, saved in grating and devices, letting for explicit determining entitlements of users and authenticities of data, cards and devices. In spite of using the most modern keys and securing systems, with respect to elements of the system of digital tachographs a lot of modus operandis were observed so that they registered wrong sizes. The European Union took right action in order to before to prevent, nevertheless they must be implemented into the everyday life.

This paper include basic terms and rules of function European On Board Diagnostic in light of large quantity of vehicles in Europe and in the whole world, level of pollution environment and one of method of prevention degradation environment and basic rules according to built and monitoring of catalytic converters. The development of a catalytic converter required an analysis of selected physical parameters of the supports. This resulted from the necessity to assume given parameters of the supports applied in the tests in exhaust gas environment in the CI engines. An analysis of ionic conductors which constitute the basic solution in voltage sensors providing signals through NOx electrocatalysis. The aim of this paper is to determine the basis for the monitoring of catalytic converters in compression ignition engines by the emission level of a selected exhaust gas component as a diagnostic signal. The emission of NOx has been taken as the basis. This required the development of a specialized system allowing the reduction of NOx and obtaining of a diagnostic signal reflecting the level of the said reduction. Those paper include same results of testing and possibilities monitoring of prototype catalytic converter on the test bad.
