W artykule omówiono badania transformatorów metodą emisji akustycznej oraz sposoby interpretacji i weryfikacji ich wyników przy pomocy termowizji i analizy chromatograficznej gazów rozpuszczonych w oleju. Opisano rzeczywiste przypadki łącznego wykorzystania tych metod w celu precyzyjnego określenia przyczyn generacji emisji akustycznej w transformatorach i stopnia zagrożenia ich eksploatacji przez wyładowania niezupełne. Wskazano na niestandardowe możliwości zastosowania metody emisji akustycznej do wykrywania w kadzi transformatora miejsc o podwyższonej temperaturze.

The article discusses tests of transformers using the acoustic emission method and methods of interpretation and verification of their results using thermal imaging and DGA analysis of gases dissolved in the oil. Real cases of combined usage of these methods are described in order to precisely determine the causes of acoustic emission generation in transformers and the degree of risk of their operation posed by partial discharges. Non-standard possibilities of using the acoustic emission method for detecting places with increased temperature in the transformer tank were indicated.

W artykule omówiono historię rozwoju transformatora na świecie i w Polsce. Przedstawiono początki Śląskiej Szkoły Diagnostyki i jej stan obecny. Przypomniano najważniejsze postacie związane z tą tematyką: założycieli fabryk transformatorów i ich osprzętu oraz profesorów Politechniki Śląskiej i ich wychowanków. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono najstarszemu w Polsce laboratorium badań izolacji, które działa nieprzerwanie w Gliwicach od ponad 60 lat oraz wkładowi Energopomiar-Elektryka w rozwój diagnostyki i wspomagania eksploatacji transformatorów.

The article discusses the history of transformer development in the world and in Poland. The beginnings of the Silesian School of Diagnostics and its current state are presented. The most important figures related to this subject were reminded: the founders of transformer factories and their accessories, as well as professors of the Silesian University of Technology and their graduates. Particular attention was paid to the oldest insulation testing laboratory in Poland, which has been operating continuously in Gliwice for over 60 years and the contribution of Energopomiar-Elektryka to the development of transformer diagnostics and support management of maintenance.

W artykule przedstawiono najważniejsze zmiany w treści Ramowej Instrukcji Eksploatacji Transformatorów, które zostały wprowadzone w wyd. 2022 r. Omówiono również przyczyny nowelizacji spowodowane zmianami w aktach normatywnych i przepisach, stosowaniem nowoczesnych materiałów konstrukcyjnych oraz wprowadzaniem nowych metod pomiarowych i potrzebą dopasowania wymagań do zmieniającej się populacji transformatorów oraz czynników ekonomicznych i środowiskowych.

The article presents the most important changes in the General Transformer Maintenance Guide, that have been introduced to ed. 2022. The reasons for he revision caused by changes in normative acts and regulations, the use of modern construction materials, the introduction of new measurement methods end the need to adjust the requirements to the changing population of transformers as well as economic and environmental factors are also discussed.
