Biomimetic mineralized composite scaffolds are widely used as natural bone substitute materials in tissue engineering by inducing and assembling bonelike apatite. In this study, the single lamellar structure of graphene oxide (GO) powder was prepared via an improved Hummers’ method. Methods: To better mimic natural bone, the collagen (COL)/Nano-hydroxyapatite (nHA)/graphene oxide (GO) composite material was prepared by simulated body fluid (SBF) method using COL/GO as a matrix template. Hydroxyapatite (HA) with calcium ion deficiency was achieved via biomimetic mineralization, and it had properties closer to those of natural bone than pure HA has. Results: The mineralized COL/nHA/GO composites exhibited loose porous structures, and the connectivity of the holes was good and thus beneficial to the exchange of nutrients and excreted metabolites. Conculsions: Antibacterial and MTT experiment confirmed that the COL/nHA/GO composite material had excellent antibacterial property and biocompatibility. Hence, these results strongly suggested the mineralized COL/nHA/GO composite is a good candidate biomaterial to be applied in bone tissue engineering.

Digital volume correlation is an image-based technique for internal 3D displacement and strain fields measurement or analysis widely used in the field of experimental mechanics. A widely used correlation function (criterion) of digital volume correlation is Pearson correlation function, which suffers from the problem of the acquired data being contaminated by salt-and-pepper noise and monotonic nonlinear distortion of the light intensity. In this work, a 3D correlation function called the Spearman correlation function is used to deal with those interferences. A numerical experiment shows that the performance of Spearman correlation function using integer-pixel registration in an environment with 10% salt-and-pepper noise is better than that of Spearman and Pearson correlation functions using sub-pixel registration in an environment with 1% salt-and-pepper noise. As the light intensity distortion is significant, the error of Pearson correlation function is considerable; meanwhile, the error of Spearman correlation function is small. In conclusion, Spearman correlation function is, in particular, practical and useful in digital volume correlation.

In order to detect the ultra-high-frequency (UHF) signals generated from partial discharges (PDs) in high voltage switchgear, a microstrip antenna sensor is designed. Influences of geometric parameters on the capability of the proposed antenna sensor are researched by numerical simulation. Measured characteristic results show that this antenna sensor is very suitable for partial discharge detection.

W celu wykrycia sygnałów w zakresie ultra wysokich częstotliwości (UHF) generowanych przez wyładowania niezupełne (PD) w rozdzielnicy wysokonapięciowej zaprojektowano czujnik w postaci anteny. Wpływ parametrów geometrycznych przetwornika na jego własności został zbadany za pomocą symulacji numerycznych. Wyniki pomiarów pozwalają stwierdzić, że powyższy czujnik umożliwia skuteczne wykrycie wyładowań niezupełnych.

In order to investigate the partial discharge characteristics, a needle-plate discharge model was proposed, which is built on the base of magneto-hydrodynamic (MHD) theory, is taken as an example. Based on this model, the distributions of coupling fields can be calculated. The simulation results are helpful for us to understand the fundamental characteristics in the process of partial discharge.

W celu zbadania charakterystyk wyładowań niezupełnych zaproponowano model wyładowania igła-płyta zbudowany na bazie teorii magnetohydrodynamicznej (MHD). Na podstawie tego modelu możliwe jest obliczenie rozkładu pól sprzężonych. Wyniki symulacji są użyteczne do zrozumienia podstawowych charakterystyk w procesie wyładowania niezupełnego.

In order to investigate the propagation characteristics of ultra-high-frequency (UHF) electromagnetic wave caused by partial discharge (PD) in high voltage switchgear, a simulation model was established by using the finite-difference-time-domain (FDTD) method. The simulation results have useful information for the installation of UHF sensor to detect PDs in switchgear.

Opracowano model numeryczny i przeprowadzono symulacje metodą różnic skończonych w dziedzinie czasu (FDTD) w celu określenia charakterystyk propagacyjnych sygnałów w zakresie ultra wysokich częstotliwości (UHF) generowanych przez wyładowania niezupełne (PD) w rozdzielnicy wysokonapięciowej. Wyniki symulacji umożliwiają poprawną instalację czujników do wykrywania wyładowań niezupełnych w rozdzielnicy.

Aiming at the overheating problem of cable joint, a 3-D finite element model of a single-core cable joint considering the coupling of electromagnetic field and temperature field has been built. In order to consider the heat losses generated by contact resistance of cable joint, the equivalent conductivity is calculated. The validity of the model and calculation method is verified by the comparison with analytical values.

Do analizy zagadnienia przegrzania połączenia kablowego zbudowano trójwymiarowy model MES przy uwzględnieniu sprzężenia pola elektromagnetycznego i temperaturowego. W celu określenia strat ciepła wytwarzanego w rezystancji styku połączenia kablowego obliczono konduktywność zastępczą.

This paper proposes a new compound mode composed of a composite insulator in series with glass insulators, designed to improve its electric field distribution based on its own capacitive electric field distribution characteristics. A three-dimensional electric field calculation model of a composite insulator in a transmission line was designed and employed to study the improved situation of the surface potential and the electric field distribution of a composite insulator, with a glass insulator installed in its high-voltage side at 110 kV.

A novel dispersion-compensating fiber Bragg grating (FBG)-based en/decoder is proposed to compensate both the out-band and in-band dispersion in a time-spreading/wavelength-hopping (TS/WH) optical code-division multiplexing (OCDM) system. The experimental realization of such en/decoders only needs a uniform-pitch phase mask and a sub-micrometer precision moving stage. Such an en/decoder pair with the ability of compensating the dispersion of transmission in 20-km single mode fiber (SMF) is simulated and experimentally fabricated. Both the simulation and experimental results show that the decoded pulse can be recovered without any distortion owing to the elimination of dispersion.

The development of an arc along the polluted surface depends to a great extent on the electric field of streamer at the arc head and the current densities in the wet polluted layer and arc. To investigate the parameters that vary depending on the arc length during the development of an arc, a simplified model of development arc along the polluted surface was established. Based on the numerical calculation of characteristic quantities of electric field and current density in the simplified model, the influencing factors on the development of arc were investigated.

Content available remote Equivalent Multi-Surge Impedance Model of Transmission Line Towers

To analyze exactly the wave propagation processes of a transmission tower when lightning strikes, an equivalent model of a transmission tower was studied in this paper. First, based on the correlative theory of tapered antenna, an equivalent surge impedance model of a single stanchion of tower was made. This tower was regarded as a four-conductor system according to the real configuration of a tower, and the equivalent impedance of the four-conductor system was obtained by multiplying the single pillar impedance with the compensation factor. Combined with the definition of wave impedance regarded with inductance and capacitance, the compensation factor of the four-conductor system was introduced. Then, the bracings equivalent model was obtained based on the analysis of the effect of bracings on the main body of a tower, and an equivalent impedance model of the crossarms was built base on the correlation theory of the equivalent model of parallel multi-conductors. In modularizing the tower model, the equivalent impedance of the tower was found. Finally, a 500 kV tower was calculated in this paper using the equivalent impedance model of the tower.

W artykule przedstawiono badania propagacji fali w energetycznej wieży transmisyjnej, po uderzeniu pioruna. Analizę przeprowadzono na podstawie modułowego modelu anteny w dwóch etapach. Najpierw stworzono model impedancyjny przepięcia w wierzy jednopodporowej, a następnie uwzględniono elementy usztywniające. Wykonano przykładowe obliczenia dla wieży pracującej przy napięciu 500 kV.
