In order to understand of coarctation growth mechanism in a blood tube, numerical analysis for blood flow and cholesterol distribution in a blood tube was carried out. Numerical results showed that back flow existed behind the coarctation, and it was found that high blood pressure (HBP), and
nonelastic conditions increased the cholesterol concentration behind the coarctation.
