Taking into account a special urgency of reformation and reorganization of the environmental monitoring systems in Ukraine, the main tasks of existing monitoring systems investigations have been determined. The main principles of the new integrated environmental monitoring system realization in Lviv region were substantiated. The structure of GIS “Analysis of the state of Lviv region environmental situation monitoring network” have been proposed. Such GIS is creating in the faculty of Geography of Lviv Ivan Franko National University during performance of the order of Lviv regional public administration and Public administration on environment and natural resources in Lviv region.
