We represent the optical correlation technique of cement particle sizing based on the transverse coherency function measurement using a polarization transverse shearing interferometer. It is shown that a set of particles with random shapes and orientations produces a coherence function, which is the same as a function of the set of spherical particles. The proposed technique of experimental data processing decreases the dependence of the result on interferometer noise, emission source intensity fluctuations and differences in the refraction index of isolated cement particles. The described technique allows fast and high reliable determining of the size distribution function parameters for a set of cement particles.

Optical correlation technique of determining the cement particle size distribution is described. It is based on transverse coherent function measurement using a polarization transverse shearing interferometer. The proposed technique of data processing decreases the dependence of the result on interferometer noise, emission source intensity fluctuations and difference of refractive index magnitudes of different cement particles. The technique allows fast and reliable determination of the size distribution function of cement particles.

The computer and physical simulation of light scattering by the system of Brownian particles has been carried out. Temporary fluctuations of field intensity have been found to save chaotic properties of driving particles. Empirical diagnostic links have been retrieved of the largest Lyapunov exponent of fluctuations of field intensity with parameters of the dispersive media.
