Artykuł zawiera opis koncepcji i realizacji usługi translacji nazw dla sieci taktycznej realizowanej w architekturze SOA. Koncepcję oparto na założeniu o mobilności poszczególnych węzłów jak i całych sieci. Usługa translacji nazw została zaproponowana ze względu na ograniczenia obecnie stosowanej usługi DNS, jakimi są ścisłe powiązanie nazw węzłów z adresacją w warstwie sieciowej, niestandardowa obsługa węzłów z wieloma interfejsami (multi-homed host) i brak możliwości wyszukiwania informacji o węzłach. Niedogodności te, jak również specyficzne potrzeby aplikacji tworzonych i działających w warunkach ograniczeń sieci taktycznej, były motywacją do opracowania koncepcji zmodyfikowanej usługi translacji nazw, dedykowanej dla systemu TACTICS.

The paper describes the concept and software implementation of name translation service (TNS) for a tactical network following the SOA paradigm. The concept is based on assumption of mobility either hosts and whole networks. The TNS was proposed due to limitations of currently used Domain Name System – DNS. The limitations cover tight integration of host name with network addressing and topology, non-standard handling of multihomed hosts and lack of information searching. These disadvantages as well specific needs of functional applications, created and running inside the limits of tactical networks, were a motivation to develop the concept a new name translation service.

Data ważności leku jest gwarancją ze strony producenta, iż produkt leczniczy pozostanie stabilny pod kątem chemicznym i tym samym utrzyma pełną skuteczność i bezpieczeństwo w okresie ważności. Autorzy niniejszej pracy dokonali badań mających na celu sprawdzenie czy przeterminowany produkt leczniczy oraz pozostający w okresie ważności posiadają podobny stopień uwalniania substancji aktywnej z matrycy farmaceutycznej. W poniższym opracowaniu badanie uwalniania leku Topamax (Topiramat jako substancja aktywna) zostało przeprowadzone w trzech różnych mediach, w analogiczny sposób jak się postępuje przy porównaniu testów in-vivo oraz in-vitro w badaniach biodostępności i biorównoważności podczas testów klinicznych. Uzyskane wyniki wykazują, iż profile uwalniania produktu badanego oraz referencyjnego są zasadniczo podobne, co zostało dowiedzione za pomocą zastosowania współczynnika podobieństwa.

The expiration date is a guarantee from the manufacturer that a drug product will remain chemically stable and thus maintain its full potency and safety - prior to that date. Authors of this study have checked whether tested drug product has a similar dissolution profile beyond and within expiration date. In this paper, dissolution study of Topamax (Topiramate as an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) was conducted in three different mediums, in the same way as comparison in-vitro and in-vivo tests during investigation of bioavailability and bioequivalence at clinical trials phase. Obtained results demonstrated that dissolution profiles of tested and reference product are essentially similar, which was statistically confirmed by means of similarity factor.

Intercalators constitute a group of compounds which interact reversibly with DNA double helix. The insertion of planar, polycyclic aromatic systems between adjacent base pairs leads to topological changes in the double helix (lengthening, unwinding) and disrupts replication, transcription and repair processes [1–4]. Some of the monointercalators e.g. doxorubicin are valuable drugs, but their clinical effectiveness is limited by their undesirable side effects, and development of multidrug resistance [12]. In order to overcome these limitations bisintercalators have been designed. Dimerization of monointercalating compounds was supposed to enhance their anticancer activity and minimize side effects [1,7]. Many research groups have been interested in designing various groups of bisintercalating agents of diverse chemical structure and biological properties, such as echinomycin antibiotics [5, 7–10], 7H-pyridocarbazole derivatives [19–21], bisanthracyclines [7, 12, 16], bisnaphthalimides [7, 22–37], bisacridines [38–48] and bisimidazoacridones [50–52]. There have been a number of modifications undertaken on polyaromatic rings, and linker chains in an attempt to improve the compounds’ activity. The structure-activity relationships have been suggested. It has been discovered that introduction of small lipophilic substituents or additional heterocycles into ring systems may lead to significant changes in binding affinity and cytotoxic activity of the compounds. It was discovered that many tumor types contained elevated polyamine levels and an active polyamine transporter for importing exogenous polyamines. Designing bisintercalators with aminoalkyl chains similar to polyamines has given a chance to improve selectivity in drug delivery to rapidly proliferating cells by utilizing the polyamine transporter. More extensive SAR studies revealed significant influence of length and rigidity of a linker binding two intercalating moieties on binding affinity and antiproliferative activity of bisintercalators. Intercalation and topoisomerases inhibition are not the only possible modes of action of the compounds. Some of them exert cytotoxic effect through induction of apoptosis e. g. bisnaphthalimidopropylspermidine (BNIPSpd, (29) Fig. 9) or disrupting repair process of DNA double helix (WMC -26, (55) Fig. 18). In this work we presented enormous chemical diversity of bisintercalators and depicted multiplicity of structural modification of dimeric molecules which may lead to enhanced cytotoxic activity becoming valuable anticancer drugs.

W artykule przedstawiono działania mające na celu wdrożenie systemów lokalizacji taboru szynowego. Warunkiem konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstw przewozowych na współczesnym rynku usług transportowych jest posiadanie i efektywne wykorzystanie nowoczesnych narzędzi wspomagających logistykę i umożliwiających minimalizację kosztów. Sprawne technicznie i ekonomicznie prace w organizowaniu przewozów spowodują obniżenie kosztów, tym samym staną się bardziej atrakcyjne dla klienta. Istotnym zadaniem takich usług logistycznych jest terminowe podstawienie i odprawa pojazdów oraz ładunków w początkowym oraz końcowym punkcie logistycznego łańcucha transportowego co jest głównym przedmiotem analizy w przedstawionym artykule.

Article presents actions timing in implementing railway stock tracking systems. Competitive abilities of transportation companies on modern transportation services market are defined by effective using of modern tools supporting logistics and lowering costs. Technically and economically efficient works within organizing transport will cause lowering costs and will be attractive for clients. Significant part of this kind of logistic services is punctual preparing and sending vehicles and cargos in first and last point of supply chain what is a main problem analsed in the article.

W artykule przedstawiono wybrane aspekty właściwej organizacji pracy pojazdów trakcyjnych w przewozach kolejowych. Podkreślono, że powinna uwzględniać wszystkie te czynniki, które wpływają na ekonomikę transportu kolejowego. Sprawna technicznie i ekonomicznie praca trakcji wymaga nie tylko stosowania właściwych środków trakcyjnych, jakimi są pojazdy trakcyjne, lecz również należytego ich wykorzystania. Właściwa organizacja pracy środków transportowych zaangażowanych przy przewozach zarówno pasażerskich jak i towarowych w aspekcie projektowania rozkładu jazdy jest głównym przedmiotem analizy w niniejszym artykule.

The chosen aspects of the proper organization of the work of traction vehicles in railway transports were introduced in the article. It was underlined, that he should take into account all these factors which influence the economics of railway transportation. Efficient the work of traction requires not only technically and economically applies the proper traction centres, what traction vehicles are, but also appropriate their of utilization. The proper organization of the work of the forwarding centres engaged near transports both passenger as and he is freight in the aspect of projecting the time-schedule of the the main object of the analysis in the present article.

Jednym ze sposobów oszacowania stężenia jonów metali w roztworach wodnych jest pomiar przy użyciu suchych testów. W celu wykonania pomiaru ilościowego można wykorzystać widmo reflektancyjne pola testowego, którego kształt zależny jest od stężenia jonu w badanym roztworze. Niestety, w większości przypadków zależność ta jest silnie nieliniowa, co uniemożliwia proste wyznaczenie stężenia przy użyciu krzywej kalibracyjnej, sporządzonej dla jednej charakterystycznej długości fali. Rozwiązaniem jest zastosowanie metod kalibracji wieloparametrowej, poprzez zastosowanie algorytmów statycznych, takich jak PCA lub PLSR, wykorzystywanych do linearyzacji nieliniowych zależności.

Ionic concentration in water is often determined in situ using dry tests. If a quantitative measurements of ionic concentrations is needed, reflectance spectra of the active field of the dry test can be used. The shape of this spectra depends on ionic concentration in studied compound. Unfortunately, in most cases, this relationship is strongly nonlinear. Therefore, ionic concentration cannot be determined by simple methods, such as univariate calibration, which are based on dependency between concentration and reflectance for one wavelength. This problem was addressed by the use of multivariate calibration methods such as Partial Least Square Regression (PLSR) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) which take advantage of statistical techniques for model curve linearization.
