Packaging steels are thin gauge flat carbon steels coated with tin or chrome on both sides. They are very important raw materials for the production of steel packaging, which allow food to be stored safely and with an extended shelf life. The publication focuses on the production process of ETP and ECCS steel, as well as the problem of corrosion of steel packaging. The topic of legislative changes that require the elimination of chromium (VI) compounds from the steel passivation process was also discussed. The packaging steel industry is currently facing the need to develop a new passivation technology. Leading packaging steel manufacturers in cooperation with varnish and paint suppliers have developed chromium (VI) free technologies by implementing chromium (III) compounds and titanium oxide technology. Authors focus also on new trends and potential development directions for the packaging steel industry.

W Lublinie w wyniku zniszczeń wojennych i dużego zwiększenia gęstości zaludnienia, nastąpiła potrzeba wybudowania nowych osiedli mieszkaniowych. Szukano rozwiązania, które w możliwie najkrótszym czasie odpowie na nagłe zapotrzebowanie mieszkaniowe społeczności. Rozwiązaniem problemu okazała się między innymi Lubelska Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa (LSM), która składa się z siedmiu modernistycznych osiedli wielkopłytowych o unikalnych układach i podziale funkcji. W artykule podjęto próbę scharakteryzowania wybranych osiedli, porównania ich między sobą jak i podsumowania zalet oraz wad tak ukształtowanych układów urbanistycznych.

War damage caused high density of population and needs to build new housing estate in Lublin. City Government was looking for solution which replied for urgent requests. Lublin Housing Cooperative (LSM) was the solution of the problem. It contains seven most popular prefabricated modernist housing estates with unique urban planning solutions and division functions of estate. The article contains characteristics of selected estates, comparison of each to others and summary of the advantages of these urban planning solutions.

Celem autora artykułu było porównanie cech morfologicznych i sprawności fizycznej podchorążych IV roku oraz absolwentów wyższych uczelni cywilnych. Biorąc pod uwagę specyfikę szkolenia podchorążych w WSOSP przez cały okres studiów, dokonano porównania sprawności fizycznej pomiędzy podchorążymi a studentami wyższych uczelni w połączeniu z cechami somatycznymi.

The aim of this article is to compare morphological features and physical fitness of the fourth year cadets and graduates of civilian universities. Taking into consideration the character of the training offered to cadets throughout their study period, their fitness and that of civilian universities graduates have been compared, in conjunction with their somatic features.

W ramach pracy przedstawiono metodykę badań umożliwiającą wyznaczenie izokinetycznych charakterystyk zespołów mięśniowych stawu kolanowego, pozwalających na ocenę stopnia wytrenowania sportowców oraz weryfikację metod treningowych. W ramach badań dokonano pomiarów momentów sił mięśniowych w warunkach pracy izokinetycznej na stanowisku pomiarowym Biodex System Pro 4. Badania przeprowadzono na grupie zawodniczek drużyny AZS Politechnika Śląska.

A research methodology enabling determination of isokinetic characteristics of knee flexors and extensors muscles is presented in the paper. The methodology can be used in estimation of volleyball players fitness and evaluation of training methods. Within the frame of conducted research measurements of muscle forces torques of knee flexors and extensors were carried out. All measurements were performed by means of the Biodex System Pro 4.The group of professional volleyball players from the AZS Silesian University of Technology team was examined.

W owocach truskawki odmiany Elkat pochodzących z upraw ekologicznych i konwencjonalnych badano zawartość suchej masy - metodą suszarkową, żelaza - metodą rodankową, cukrów prostych - metodą Notlinga-Bernfelda i kwasu askorbinowego - metodą Tillmansa. Wykazano, że system uprawy nie wpływa na zawartość suchej masy owoców truskawek. W owocach pochodzących z upraw ekologicznych zawartość suchej masy wynosiła 19,19 g/100g świeżej masy, a w owocach z uprawy konwencjonalnej 18,41 g/100g świeżej masy. Zawartość żelaza była istotnie wyższa w owocach z uprawy ekologicznej - 1,01 g/100g świeżej masy owoców, niż w owocach z uprawy konwencjonalnej - 0,80 g/100g świeżej masy. System uprawy nie wpływa na zawartość cukrów prostych w owocach truskawek. W owocach z uprawy ekologicznej suma cukrów prostych wynosiła 30,98g/100g świeżej masy owoców, a w pochodzących z uprawy konwencjonalnej - 28,93g/100g świeżej masy. Zawartość kwasu askorbinowego była istotnie wyższa w owocach pochodzących z uprawy ekologicznej - 1,23g/100g świeżej masy, a w owocach z uprawy konwencjonalnej - 0,57 g/100 g świeżej masy owoców.

In the fruits of strawberry var. Elkat from organic and conventional cropping systems were investigated: content of dry mass by blotter method, iron by rhodanic method, simple sugars by Nolting-Bernfeld method and ascorbic acid by Tillmans method. There were find that cropping system did not influence dry mass of strawberry. In fruits from organic farming there was 19,19g/100 g of fresh mass and in fruits from conventional farming - 18,41 g/100 g of fresh mass. Iron content was significantly higher in strawberries from organic farming 1,01 g/100g of fresh mass than in fruits from conventional farming - 0,8 g/100g of fresh mass. Cropping system did not influence sugar content in strawberries. In fruits from organic farming sum of simple sugars was 30,98 g/100g of fresh mass and in fruits from conventional system - 28,93 g/100g of fresh mass. Content of ascorbic acid was significantly higher in fruits from organic farming - 1,23 g/100g of fresh mass than in fruits from conventional farming - 0,57 g /100 g of fresh mass.

W pracy zaprezentowano wyniki pomiarów doświadczalnych, przeprowadzonych dla grupy studentów Politechniki Śląskiej w Gliwicach. Podczas badań doświadczalnych mierzone były momenty sił mięśniowych prostowników i zginaczy stawu kolanowego podczas skurczu izometrycznego. Badania modelowe umożliwiły wyznaczenie wartości sił mięśniowych.

The paper presents results of experimental measurements and mathematical calculations, which were carried out for students of Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. During experimental research moments of flexor and extensor muscle forces were measured. Modeling investigations enabled determination of values of muscle forces.

Measurement method of motor features carried out with the help of measuring position dedicated to isometric exercises was described in the paper. Measurement position, groups of examined people and results of research were described. Lower limbs were subjected to analyse. Moments of muscle forces during isometric contraction were measured.

In the article there is description of correctly performed attack in volleyball. In the kinematical analysis a video of attack by 2nd league team member was recorded, the player's movement was mapped and kinematical parameters of this motion stated. Exemplary trajectories of movements of separate player's joints, their speed and acceleration are included.

In the paper the problem of the modelling of machine systems by making use of the hybrid bond graphs method in a matrix representation and in terms of differential equations has been formulated. The presented method of the dynamic analysis of mechatronical machines models on the basis of the hybrid network graphs constitutes a very efficient algorithm. Such a method consists in the modelling of the given mechatronical model in terms of the hybrid bond graphs with a neural net and the Mason signal flow as subgraphs. Using the impedance method frequency characteristics and natural frequencies for the vibrating model of a machine are analysed on an example of a railway vehicle. In the paper, the sensitivity model and its dynamic characteristics are formulated and examined with the help of the hybrid bond graphs method.

W pracy sformułowano zagadnienie modelowania modeli dynamicznych układów maszyn z zastosowaniem metody hybrydowych grafów wiązań w reprezentacji macierzowej i w postaci układu równań różniczkowych ruchu. Opracowana metoda hybrydowych grafów wiązań stanowi efektywny sposób analizy układów mechatronicznych maszyn. Metoda polega na sformułowaniu globalnego grafu wiązań z uwzględnieniem grafu przepływu sygnałów Masona lub sieci neuronowej jako podgrafów. Stosując metodę impedancji wyznaczono charakterystyki amplitudowo-częstotliwościowe oraz częstości własne na przykładzie modelu dynamicznego pojazdu szynowego. W pracy opracowano także modele wrażliwości ruchu maszyn i ich charakterystyk dynamicznych przy zastosowaniu metody hybrydowych grafów wiązań.

W pracy sformułowano zagadnienie modelowania modeli dynamicznych układów napędowych maszyn transportowych z zastosowaniem grafów sieciowych w reprezentacji macierzowej. Model dynamiczny sieci przepływowej określono wprowadzając zmienne biegunowe w wierzchołkach sieci oraz zmienne przepływowe przyporządkowane gałęziom sieci. Model matematyczny przepływów sieciowych określono wprowadzając pojęcie globalnej macierzy przepustowości układu, w szczególności dla układów hydraulicznych. W pracy przedstawiono izomorficzne układy fizyczne dla danej sieci potencjalnej. Opracowano metodę hybrydowych grafów wiązań do modelowania złożonych układów dynamicznych umożliwiającą badanie wrażliwości układu ze względu na parametry projektowe. W pracy zamieszczono wyniki analizy przepływów sieciowych na przykładzie dynamicznego układu wibroizolacji z napędem hydraulicznym.

In the paper the problem of the analysis of the modelling of the dynamical models of the driving systems by use of the networs graphs in the matrix representation has been formulated. In the paper the isomorphoused with the driving system the potencial networks graphs are shown. There the hybrid bond graphs method is elaborated to modelling of the complex dynamical systems and the sensitivity model of the system regard to the parameters. The results of the analysis of the flows on example of the dynamical model of the hydraulical driving system with vibroisolation element are shown.

W pracy sformułowano model fizyczny i matematyczny drgań pojazdu szynowego przy uwzględnieniu układu pojazd szynowy - tor. Zbadano wrażliwość widma częstości drgań własnych i charakterystyk amplitudowo-częstotliwościowych wagonu ze względu na parametry konstrukcyjno-eksploatacyjne, w tym ze względu na sztywność amortyzatorów, sztywność jezdni oraz prędkość jazdy. Zamieszczono wyniki obliczeń numerycznych częstości drgań własnych wagonu pełnego oraz przebiegi drgań wagonu przy wymuszeniu harmonicznie zmiennym.

In the paper the physical and mathematical model of the vibrations of the railway vehicle regard to the stiffness of the shock absorbers, the track and the drive velocity. The sensitivity analysis of the natural frequencies and the frequence characte- ristics of the railway vehicle regard to the design parameters were investigated. There results of numerical calculations are presented in the range of the natural frequencies values and in term of the frequencies characteristics diagrams.

W pracy przedstawiono model sieciowy układu wagon kolejowy-tor, opracowany na podstawie metody grafów wiązań i sieci neuronowych. Sformułowano model układu napędowego pojazdu z silnikiem prądu stałego w postaci sieci neuronowej. Przedstawiono model dynamiczny ruchu pojazdu szynowego z uwzględnieniem zjawiska odbicia, ukosowania i sił tarcia poślizgowego. Na podstawie modelu wyznaczono charakterystyki amplitudowe układu oraz przebieg siły bocznej pomiędzy kołem a szyną.

In the paper the net model of the railway stock machine on basis of the bond graphs and neural net methods has been shown. There is the model of the driving system with steady - current motor in term of the neural network is formulated. In dynamics model of the motion of the railway stock the influence of the reflection phenomenon, the bevel, the side and the friction forces are presented. On basis of the elaborated model the frequencies characteristics and the cources of the side forces between the wheel and rail are determined.
