The qualitative and quantitative interrelation between parameters of hardening of a steel surface by various methods SPD and module of normal elasticity of a superficial layer by thickness 5-10 microns is established. Criterion of a limiting condition of a surface after hardening is the ratio ?min" 0,7?0.The received results will be well coordinated with measurements of microhardness of a surface of samples with loadings 20, 50, 100, 200 grammes and earlier by carried out researches in the field of superficial processing.
