Building thermal insulation and its economic repayment

Current development of material base and technology makes it possible to use different methods to improve thermal insulating properties of the existing building constructions. Depending on the service life, the methods may be very different. The paper deals with the appreciation of thermal insulation from the point of view of financial costs repayment in relation to its service life. Basic calculation formulae and their graphic illustration (which determine economic effectiveness) are presented.

Obecny rozwój materiałów budowlanych i technologii pozwala na poprawianie charakterystyki cieplnej budynków istniejących na różne sposoby. Poszczególne technologie różnią się między sobą m.in. czasem życia technicznego. W artykule przedstawiono ocenę metod docieplania budynków z uwagi na zwrot kosztów inwestycji i jej trwałość. Podano podstawowe formuły obliczeniowe i wykresy, pozwalające na ocenę efektywności ekonomicznej.
