The aim of this article is to place economic aspects deciding on choosing means of transport to move forces within the alliance in the whole programme of regrouping logistic planning. In order to achieve this, the planning processes of logistic support for regrouped troops has been presented. Next an analysis of economic factors’ influence on reaching the task has been carried out. The considerations that followed concerned the dependencies between time that we have on our disposal and economic capabilities. Finally, the role of links between the technical possibilities of the person who is planning the regrouping and economic conditions shaping his possibilities has been presented. To choose the means of transport for regrouping the forces, the planner will have to take into account the aim and time of the operation and his technical capabilities. However, these three factors after a logistic planning will have to be considered in reference to the planner’s economic conditions. Ensuring a necessary effectiveness of supplies and rendering specialist and board and accommodation services while regrouping troops requires a selective accomplishment of operations that increase the potential of military logistic systems. The selection is determined by numerous tactical, operational, logistic and economic conditions. In consequence the planners of regrouping troops are required a very high level of professionalism. The specific character of economic aspects to choose means of transport to move troops within the alliance envisages a wide range of operations, the appropriate analysis and conducting of which is necessary to carry out operations connected with regrouping the troops. A correct understanding of these problems allows realising how much is to be done in order to prepare our troops to operations within the alliance outside our country.
