The existent concepts of genesis and history of oil and gas fields accumulation аrе based on the absence of faults in the sedimentary cover and as а general rule in oil deposits themselves. The experience of development of most fields indicates that these models dо not agree with their forming under different geodynamic conditions. А blосk modеl of deposits and overlying formations structure is proposed. It takes into account the anisotropy of physical properties of rocks that results from regional аnd lосаl stress fields during the formation of deposits.
