The aim of the study was to evaluate diagnostic value of TCRT (spatial QRS-T angle) parameter in different sets of ECG leads and to select the ECG lead set, for which the TCRT parameter would have the best sensitivity and specificity in identifying patients threatened by ventricular tachycardia (VT pts). Two groups of patients after myocardial infarction were studied: 13 non VT pts and 30 VT pts. The TCRT parameter values differentiated VT pts group from non VT pts group for all analyzed sets of ECG leads. Considering sensitivity of the TCRT parameter in identifying VT patients the best set of ECG leads was selected.

Time and spatial inhomogeneity of the repolarization phase is considered to be an important, noninvasive indication of sudden cardiac death in patients after myocardial infarction. Analysis of spatial variability of the repolarization phase was carried out on signals recorded with the 64-channel system for measurement of high-resolution ECG. The lead position on the torso, according to the University of Amsterdam lead system, was used. A new parameter, called the T-wave shape index and the distribution function method, as a method sensitive to shape variations, were applied to examine spatial variability of the T-wave shape in HR ECG maps. A group of 14 healthy volunteers and a group of 12 patients after myocardial infarction were studied. The diversity of spatial distributions of the parameters connected to the shape of the T-wave is clearly noticeable in the group of patients after myocardial infarction. The similarity of spatial distributions of proposed parameters in the group of healthy subjects is observed. The obtained results confirm the hypothesis that the spatial heterogeneity of the repolarization phase increases after myocardial infarction.

Przedstawiono rozwój rynku telefonii mobilnej w Polsce w świetle rozwoju konkurencji na tym rynku, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zmian w roku 2005. Zaprezentowano także zmiany cen ustug telefonicznych, świadczonych za pośrednictwem sieci telefonii mobilnej w Polsce oraz odniesiono je do cen analogicznych ustug w wybranych krajach Unii Europejskiej. Do porównania cen usług między poszczególnymi krajami UE i Polską wykorzystano tzw. metodę koszykową OECD.

There are presented mobile market development in Poland in relation to the competition's development in that sector including changes in 2005. The article comprises price changes of the telephone services provided by the mobile networks in Poland, in respect to the shnilar services prices in the selected EU countries. To compare prices for mobile services between selected EU countries and Poland there would be used the so-called OECD basket method.

The article indicates the delay of the new accessed to the European Union in May 2004 countries comparing to the UE average. The data services and the computer hardware there were showed much more detailed.

Celem niniejszej pracy było oszacowanie wpływu miejsca wystąpienia zawału mięśnia sercowego na efektywność wykrywania pacjentów zagrożonych częstoskurczem komorowym na podstawie analizy EKG o wysokiej rozdzielczości. Wyniki analiz wysokorozdzielczego EKG w dziedzinie czasu i częstości byty rozpatrywane pod względem umiejscowienia zawału mięśnia sercowego w ścianie przedniej lub dolnej. Poniższa praca potwierdza wpływ lokalizacji zawału mięśnia sercowego na efektywność oceny zagrożenia częstoskurczem komorowym za pomocą wysoko-rozdzielczej analizy EKG.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of the location of myocardial infarction (MI) on the effectiveness of the high resolution ECG analysis in discriminating patients prone to ventricular tachycardia (VT). The results of the high resolution ECG analysis in time and frequency domain were compared in respect of the anterior (AMI) and inferior (IMI) myocardial infarction. The presented study confirms the influence of the MI localization on the effectiveness of VT prediction by the high-resolution ECG analysis. This influence was less obvious for the AR and WT analyses due to high frequency resolution of these methods.

The report presents the forecast of the telecomm services market development in Poland in the period 2001-2010 with the consideration of conditions and limitations during the time of its realization. The method of estimation used for this forecast, which determines the extent of the telecomm market, consists of laying down the theoretical demand for telecomm services in stationary and mobile nets based on the GUS prognosis regarding population and the number of households in Poland.

It also gives the comparison of the telecom operator's rates recommended by the Polish Ministry of Telecommunication for termination of calls in fixed telephone networks to rates proposed by the autor.
