Purpose: The aim of the research conducted was to identify the main research areas in scientific articles addressing greenwashing in corporate social responsibility and to present the most current areas of research in this area. Design/methodology/approach: The study was conducted between August and December 2024. Scientific articles from the Scopus database were submitted for analysis. They were selected according to bibliometric query Q1. Based on the established criteria, 149 scientific articles were identified. These articles were analysed according to author keywords using the VOSviewer software, which was helpful to generate bibliometric maps. The study also conducted a systematic literature review of scientific publications that addressed the issue of greenwashing in corporate social responsibility. Findings: We identified 11 author keywords most frequently used in the analysed publications. The analysis allowed us to see that the most topical areas of research in greenwashing in corporate social responsibility are ESG and corporate governance. Research limitations/implications: Among the limitations of the study conducted, two factors can be mentioned. The first factor limiting the present study is the choice of a single database, which is the Scopus database. The bibliometric query Q1 constructed in the first stage of the research considerations undertaken can be considered the second limiting factor of the study. However, the analyses carried out in this article confirmed the validity of the choice of the Scopus database, as the articles selected for the study did not include studies prepared on the basis of the Scopus database alone. Constructed in this way, the study allows for expert planning of future research, with a focus on replicating this study in the future to verify new research areas. Originality/value: The study carried out in this article is unique from those conducted to date, as confirmed by the Q1 bibliometric query constructed. The analysis identified the most up-to-date areas of research linking greenwashing and corporate social responsibility, as well as important future research directions, such as addressing the issue of green blockchain. In the authors' opinion, the article can be an inspiration for other researchers and those interested in the issues of greenwashing and corporate social responsibility.
Purpose: The aim of the research is to identify the most frequently undertaken research areas in scientific publications addressing the issues of green supply chain and green logistics simultaneously. Design/methodology/approach: The study was planned and carried out in the period from April to August 2024. The analyzed research areas were expressed through author keywords, which were assigned to individual scientific publications through their authors. The multi-stage research process used two methods for bibliometric research (systematic literature review and classical literature review). Author keywords assigned to 111 precisely selected scientific publications were analyzed. Findings: Nine of the most frequently addressed research areas in scientific publications that simultaneously addressed green supply chain and green logistics were identified. In terms of as many as three identified research areas, there was a direct reference to the supply chain (green supply chain, green supply chain management, supply chain management). In turn, in two areas there was a reference to sustainability issues (environmental sustainability, sustainability). In addition, the issue of reverse logistics was identified as a key research area and at the same time corresponding to the issue of green logistics. Research limitations/implications: An important factor limiting the study was the choice of database for bibliometric analyses (Scopus database). In addition, the scope of the analyses undertaken was limited to the constructed bibliometric query (Q1). However, both aspects indicated simultaneously made it possible to obtain precise and consistent results of the analyses. Moreover, it becomes possible to repeat the study in the future and compare it with other constructed studies aimed at literature review. Originality/value: The study, compared to other such bibliometric analyses, is distinguished by the syntax of the constructed query. In addition, it was noted that research should be undertaken in learning more about the role and importance of logistics and supply chain greening for emerging green business ecosystems. Other relevant areas are the question of green job creation due to the greening of supply chains, or how the green skills gap affects the process of green supply chain and green logistics. The article is addressed to anyone interested in issues related to green supply chain and green logistics.
Purpose: The aim of the research conducted was to identify the main research areas in scientific articles addressing blockchain in logistics in the context of sustainable development. Design/methodology/approach: The study was conducted between April and August 2024. A review of Scopus database data was conducted. Scientific articles, extracted according to bibliometric query Q1, were submitted for analysis. Based on the adopted criteria, 74 scientific articles were identified and further analyzed according to the author's keywords using the VOSviewer software. A systematic literature review of scientific publications that referred to blockchain issues in logistics and sustainability was also used. Findings: Nine author keywords most frequently used in the analyzed publications were identified, which were followed by references to the words contained in the title of this study, namely blockchain in logistics and sustainability. The analysis made it possible to see that the word blockchain did not co-occur only with the word blockchain technology, which is considered reasonable. Research limitations/implications: The limiting factor of the present study is the choice of database, which was limited to the Scopus database and the bibliometric query Q1 constructed as part of the first stage of the research considerations undertaken. Nevertheless, as the analyses conducted in this article indicated, this procedure was justified since the few studies indicated were only concerned with the Scopus database itself. In addition, it allows and enables expert planning of future studies, which will be aimed at repeating these studies in the future to check the results or verify new research areas. Originality/value: The study conducted is unique compared to those conducted so far, which is confirmed by the constructed bibliometric query Q1. Within the framework of the analysis performed, future relevant research directions were identified, such as addressing the issue of green blockchain. According to the authors, the article can inspire other researchers and those interested in blockchain, logistics and sustainability issues.
This paper has two equally important research objectives. The first aim of the research is to identify key research areas addressed in scientific publications that simultaneously relate to blockchain, energy, and sustainability. In turn, the identification of green research areas in these publications is the second research aim. The indicated research aims were achieved on the basis of a bibliometric review of 205 scientific publications from 2017-2023 (Scopus database). By means of a systematic literature review, 25 different key research areas were identified. In turn, the classic literature review identified 18 green research areas (e.g. green blockchain). At the same time, no green issue was identified as a key research area. The results can inspire researchers looking for research gaps around blockchain and sustainability issues. Among the recommendations for stakeholders, the need for further research around blockchain technology, the development of a regulatory framework, or educational issues were highlighted.

Artykuł ma dwa równorzędne cele badań. Pierwszym celem badań jest identyfikacja kluczowych obszarów badawczych poruszanych w publikacjach naukowych nawiązujących jednocześnie do problematyki blockchain, energetyki oraz zrównoważonego rozwoju. Z kolei wyodrębnienie zielonych obszarów badawczych w tych publikacjach stanowi drugi cel badań. Wskazane cele badań zostały osiągnięte na podstawie przeglądu bibliometrycznego 205 publikacji naukowych z lat 2017-2023 (baza danych Scopus). Za pomocą systematycznego przeglądu literatury zidentyfikowano 25 różnych kluczowych obszarów badawczych. Z kolei klasyczny przegląd literatury pozwolił na wyodrębnienie 18-tu zielonych obszarów badawczych (m.in. green blockchain).
Purpose: The aim of this article is presenting the CEP market from the perspective of the development of reverse logistics in e-commerce, which has recently played an important role both from the perspective of the customer and the companies. Design/methodology/approach: The article is based on the analysis of literature, results of secondary research and own research conducted in 2017, 2019 and 2021 among online shops and in 2021 among CEP companies. A survey of Polish e-commerce and courier companies using the CAWI technique was conducted to gather information on the behaviours, expectations and attitudes of e-customers towards making purchases and returning goods in order to identify challenges for the CEP market. Findings: As can be seen from the data analysis, the growth of the CEP industry during the Covid-19 pandemic is undeniable and is the result of the development of e-commerce and returns services. The average annual growth of courier services by 2025 in the Asia-Pacific area will be 10.8%, in America Sem. - 5.2%, in Europe - 5.1%, and in Poland - between 7-8%. The industry therefore has to deal with an increasing number of orders resulting from online shopping, new customer expectations related to security, or the reduction of direct contact. Research limitations/implications: The return policy in e-commerce is still a growing topic, which is the biggest challenge for both online stores and courier companies. The conducted research is a starting point for further analyzes regarding: e-customers' expectations regarding the level of service in the area of returns, cooperation between entities from the CEP industry and online stores, or the automation and support of reverse logistics processes in the CEP industry. Practical implications: The presented research results can serve as a source of knowledge for e-commerce entities as a foundation for building a competitive advantage on the market. For courier companies, they are the starting point for designing processes dedicated to handling return logistics for e-commerce. Originality/value: The covid-19 pandemic contributed to the acceleration of the development of the e-commerce market around the world faster than specialists had predicted. This situation forced the KEP industry to redefine the processes so as to adapt them to the new reality and respond to the growing requirements of the client. However, as the volume of online purchases increased, so did the volume of returns, which has always been a challenge for e-commerce. The conducted research showed through which activities the KEP industry redefined its role in the electronic trade.
