Standard seismic data processing cannot provide sufficient and correct information about complexed geological structures. The inaccuracies are caused by simplifications typical for standard procedures in time-domain. Expected deformations of real ray traces are often large and, therefore, correct stacking of reflections of common midpoint is not possible. Reflections presented on time section are splited and moved both in vertical and horizontal dimension. In that case post-stack migration does not provide a reliable information concerning geology and tectonics in area of interest. Seismic data can be correctly prepared for stacking by 3D Pre-Stack Depth Migration (3D PSDM). Basing on iterationally improved Depth-Velocity Model real seismic ray paths can be obtained. This approach provides more realistic description of ray-paths and their behaviour while travelling through the media. The crucial point of concern is creation of a correct Depth-Velocity Model which, unfortunately, is the most time- and labour-consuming step of the procedure.
