Influence of dust concentration at inlet on the process of filtrating separation of wood dusts from the air. This study analyzes air flow resistance during the filtration process from beech and oak dust using polyester needle felt PES 500g. Influence of dust concentration at inlet variability on shaping flow resistance before and after jet pulse was investigated. The study revealed the increase of dust concentration above 20 g/m3 does not cause increase of flow resistance. The findings can be used to design filtrating installation in factories which process large amounts of beech and oak wood.

Effectiveness of filtrating separation of wood dust from the air with variable dust concentration at inlet. In the studies effectiveness of air cleaning from beech and oak dust using polyester needle felt PES 500g was being determined. Influence of variable dust concentration at inlet on amount of dust particles in cleaned air were given full consideration. Executed studies revealed that the lowest number of particles in cleaned air for beech and oak dust occur at a dust concentration at inlet 20 g/m3. The findings indicate that the increase of dust concentration at inlet does not decrease effectiveness of air cleaning from beech and oak dust.
