There is a widespread belief that VR technologies can provide controlled, multi-sensory, interactive 3D stimulus environments that engage patients in interven-tions and measure, record and motivate required human performance. In orderto investigate state-of-the-art and associated occupations we provided a carefulreview of6leading medical and technical bibliometric databases. Despite theapparent popularity of the topic of VR use in cardiac surgery, only47articlespublished between 2002 and 2022 met the inclusion criteria. Based on them,VR-based solutions in cardiac surgery are useful both, for medical specialistsand for the patients themselves. The new lifestyle required from cardiac surgerypatients is easier to implement thanks to VR-based educational and motiva-tional tools. However, it is necessary to develop the above-mentioned tools andcompare their effectiveness with Augmented Reality (AR). For the aforemen-tioned reasons, interdisciplinary collaboration between scientists, clinicians andengineers is necessary

In this paper we present an architecture for run-time reconfiguration of network-enabled ubiquitous devices. The whole idea is based on a policy-based system where the whole decision-making (e.g. anomaly detection-related) logic is provided in a form of an externally loaded policy file. The architecture is verified through real-life implementation on an embedded system whose sensitivity can be easily modified should a need arise in run-time without affecting network device/segment (and thus potentially a number of network services) so that they continue working while the re-configuration process is triggered.

In this paper various smoothing filters were applied in order to smooth inverted pendulum’s movement trajectory. The filtering was implemented for the purpose of some artifacts removal. The authors tested various classical smoothing filters on the single-inverted pendulum, which is a classical problem in control theory and is widely used for the purpose for testing various control algorithms, neural networks, fuzzy control, genetic algorithms etc.

W niniejszym artykule zastosowano filtry wygładzające w celu wygładzenia trajektorii ruchu odwróconego wahadła. Filtracja została użyta do usunięcia zakłóceń . Autorzy przetestowali różne klasyczne filtry wygładzające na wahadle odwróconym, który jest klasycznym problemem w teorii sterowania i ma szerokie zastosowanie do testów różnych algorytmów, sieci neuronowych, w logice rozmytej, algorytmach genetycznych itp.

In women in the third trimester of pregnancy there are concentration disorders, which are associated with, among other things, an increase in hormones and changes in the EEG signal, especially in the 10-12Hz frequency range.

U kobiet w trzecim trymestrze ciąży występują problemy z koncentracją, które wynikają z różnych przyczyn m.in. zmian hormonalnych. Zmiany te są widoczne w sygnale EEG, zwłaszcza w przedziale 10—12Hz.
