Koncepcja budowy stopnia wodnego Nieszawa została opracowana w „Hydroprojek-cie Warszawa" Sp. z o.o. w latach 1998-1999 w ramach szerokiego studium pt. „Koncepcja zagospodarowania dolnej Wisły". Stanowi ona jego efekt końcowy, a jednocześnie jest kolejnym ogniwem działań „Hydropro-jektu" w planowaniu i projektowaniu budowli hydrotechnicznych oraz rozwiązywaniu problemów o kluczowym znaczeniu dla budownictwa wodnego i gospodarki wodnej w Polsce.

The conception of building the stage of fall Nieszawa was developed by Hydroprojekt Warszawa in the years 1998-1999 in the framework of the large study ..Conception of development of the lower Vistula". It constitutes IhCfinal effect of the study and is also a consecutive link of the chain of activities of ..Hydroprojekt" in the area of planning and designing the hydrotechnical buildings and of solving problems of crucial importans for hydrotechnics and water management in Poland.

The paper presents the premises of the multivariant study ,,The conception of the building of the Lower Vistula" and discusses particular variants of that conception. The final conclusions are based on the results of technical solutions, analysis of their impact on the environment as well as on the research works concerning the economic effectiveness.
