Correct flow measurements require a fully developed turbulent velocity profile in upstream straight section to measuring device. During fluid flow through local obstacles, velocity profiles becomes deformated. This paper proposes a new solution of flow conditioner, which combine advantages of vanes and perforated plates in producing fully developed turbulent velocity field.
