The experimental research results of drying of polyacrylamide gel, containing admixture of ammonia sulfate, are presented. The ammonia sulfate transfer to surface of polymer in drying process was observed. The mathematical formulation of moisture and inorganic salt transfer in polymer matrix in drying process is developed. The simulation results of polyacrylamide gel radiant heat drying process are presented.

Zaproponowano model matematyczny postpolimeryzacji polimetakrylanu metylu poprzez obróbkę cieplną i naświetlanie promieniami UV. Dokonano także analizy procesu na drodze symulacji numerycznej.

There has been suggested the mathematical model of postpolymerization of a monomer in polymethylmethacrylate by its heat treatment and UV - irradiation. An engineering analysis that process was made through numerical simulation.
