The competitive products of plant growing and animal breeding cannot be obtained under today's conditions without high-level mechanization. It is necessary to equip the agriculture with efficient and reliable machinery, which would ensure the high-quality performance of technological operations, allow reducing the consumption of fuel and other resources per unit of the products manufactured as well as reducing all kinds of losses. Therefore the substantiation of prospective resource-saving ecological technologies, forecasting of efficient parameters of machines and units, formation of optimum compositions and plans of use of machine and tractor fleet are the indispensable prerequisites for successful creation, manufacture and use of new machinery. Solution ofa ll these problems in unit is one of the priority orientations of the agrarian science of the Republic of Belarus.
